You’re lying. I never said a thing supportive of nor advocated capitulating to government or completing the form in its entirety. I have stated several times on this thread that the best thing to do (and is what we will be doing) is answering only the household headcount information.

The more silly or snide or cocky answers and remarks you guys put on there, the more ammo you give them against you. In the alternative, you could just go to the census office and wave a red flag in their faces.

There’s a reason why lawyers tell their clients not to talk and not volunteer anything, and that reason is that the more you say, the more you reveal inconsistencies and weaknesses in your position. We have the right to remain silent, and shutting up when it comes to the “authorities” is ALWAYS the best course. Let them hurl THEIR best case at you BEFORE you reveal what your best case against them is. Just answering their questions at all may indicate that you acknowledge they have the right to ask them. If your point is that they don’t have that right, then DON’T ANSWER AT ALL. Don’t be cute, cocky, trite, silly or anything. Just SHUTUP as to any questions not authorized by the constitution. If they try to prosecute or harass people to get more information out of them, they have no clue as to what your argument would be, who you are, how smart (or stupid) you are, what your political beliefs are (there are also lefties who find the form intrusive - it’s not just us) if you haven’t revealed any of that through silly answers or big, blowhard statements about rights and so on. Since we know this administration has usurped and taken control of the census process itself and have a bunch of thug types handling it, we know they’ll be gunning for conservatives. Don’t paint a damned target on your forehead.
