President Barack Obama said that a forthcoming review of the US nuclear posture would reduce the number and role of nuclear weapons in Washington’s national security strategy. In addition, we will seek to ratify the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty and negotiate a treaty to end the production of fissile material for use in nuclear weapons, Obama said in a statement marking the 40th anniversary of the nuclear nonproliferation treaty. A 1999 vote on US ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty fell 19 votes short of the 67 needed for approval by the Senate, which at the time was controlled by Republicans.

There are three ways to view the President’s desire to rid the world of nuclear weapons. He honestly thinks a treaty will do it and he’s willing to do anything to achieve this treaty, including unilateral disarmament. (Unilateral disarmament is always a strong hand to play when everybody else is armed to the teeth. It shows moral superiority and embarrasses your opponent into capitulating lest you shake your finger at him.)
Or, two. He’s an American hating Manchurian candidate who is leading us into the jaws of destruction.
Or, three. He believes that once the hated Satan America has shown its friendliness by disarming first that all of human nature will turn into enlightened lite wine sippers and war and carnage will be a thing of the past.
If we had an American hating enemy in charge of our government, by what action would we know?
Ok...given that the role of US nuclear weapons is to figuratively keep the wolves at bay...by their mere existence....this seems like a very irresponsible, almost moronic course of action.
But then...why should I be surprised? Just another day in the New Workers Paradise, neh?

No, Putin wouldn’t have him there as his lapdog. Putin would have him shot and then put one of his own people in there. Obama is too arrogant to let him be a lapdog and Putin would want someone with an actual brain and ability. Zero is NOT and never will sit at those tables and be considered an equal.

It’ll be pretty easy to accomplish a number of things he wants all at once.
He can reduce medical costs, save Social Security, reduce the role and number of nukes. All he has to do is nuke out the interior of “flyover” country. They don’t appropriately revere him anyway.
