Sarah Palin's secret "laugh track" machine at Jay Leno show: makes Adam Lambert fans like her, too!
New Palin scandal: Leno might have piped in some laughter for her jokes ^ | March 6, 2010 | RonDog (and FRiends)

Sarah Palin's secret "laugh track" machine at Jay Leno show:
makes Adam Lambert fans like her, too!

(An "after action" report from FReepers who were actually in the studio audience.)
In perhaps the worst possible development for the radical left since the discovery of Karl Rove's now infamous "Weather Machine," Governor Palin's recently exposed top secret "laugh track" machine appears to also have even more dastardly powers than were originally feared.

In addition to altering the space-time continuum, and reprogramming the master computers at NBC – to cause laughter during Sarah's monologue to appear where none had been before, and send well-intentioned jeers and "groans" from her wannabe stalkers into the abyss – this mysterious device apparently also exerts some kind of irresistible mind control powers over the loyal fans of "American Idol" megastar Adam Lambert, causing many of them to actually like the producer of the upcoming new "Alaska Valley Days" TV series, Governor Sarah Palin.

Or, at least, that's what the Kos Kids would like you to believe.

Many of those wacky ultra-left "conspiracy-mongers" who post at such online cesspools as the Daily Kos, Huffpo and DU have been foaming at the mouth all week about Sarah's "rock star" performance during for last week's taping of "Day Two" of Jay Leno's return to the traditional 11:35 pm time slot for the "Tonight Show."

Since I was actually in the studio audience last week when Governor Palin made her "comedy debut" – with a small band of "Palin palm print"-bearing FReepers (and FRiends) who had crashed the party with the intention of acting as "Ed McMahon" to Sarah's "Johnny Carson" – I call BS on their widely-reported, but easily-debunked, "laugh track" conspiracy theory.

In my not so humble opinion, however, the REAL "back story" behind last week's studio audience, which has naturally NOT been covered in the "State-Controlled Media" – was that a huge percentage of that relatively "pro-Palin" audience last week were "glamberts"– that is, hard core fans of "American Idol" singer Adam Lambert, whom many music lovers view as a contemporary reincarnation of Elvis. (Or, perhaps Liberace.)

In this thread, which will serve as the "after action" report for our recent Leno FReep, I intend to explore this strange – and very unexpected (to me) twist – on the controversial "big tent" philosophy of the new Republican party. And that strange new twist is, many Adam Lambert fans support Sarah Palin!

I am particularly interested in hearing on this thread from ADAM LAMBERT FANS who support Sarah Palin, but I would also like to hear from CONSERVATIVES who may have reservations about welcoming this new group of Palin supporters, many of whom have been NOT previously been engaged (or informed) in the political arena.

Personally, I like the concept of "My tent, my rules."

That is, we welcome the electoral support of just about ANYBODY – but only on OUR terms. I believe that the conservative political movement should be like America itself: everyone is welcome here – IF you agree to certain fundamental, non-negotiable principles.

Please post YOUR comments and opinions about Sarah Palin and the "glamberts" here.

Thank you,
RonDog

THANK YOU, rlmorel!

That is EXACTLY the image of Karl Rove's "Weather Machine" that I was looking for, when I posted this thread.

(I couldn't find it this morning.)

I agree completely! Not a huge Goodman fan, but some of his music was good while I was swing dancing and Lindy Hopping.

I love Vaughn Monroe as well as Harry James and the Dorseys, Artie Shaw, and, yes, Tex did a great job taking over the band after Miller’s passing. I have several of the old-fashioned, change-the-steel-needle, hand-crank phonograph player and several hundred 78s. It’s great to listen to them.

Have you ever seen the move Orchestra Wives? It stars the GM orchestra, with Tex and the Modernaires singing. Not a great movie, but just wonderful to see them all together.

Good thing we had quite a few FReepers there in L.A. at the taping of the show.
Thanks, Palladin!

FWIW, though, we've "raised the bar" so much around here in the last few years, so that we no longer consider "a dozen or so" to be "quite a few." :o)

I could tell you how many FReepers that we INTENDED to have at this event, but then I'd have to kill you. :o)
The glamberts really SKUNKED us at getting supporters into this studio audience. And the Shaun White fans were close behind.

I estimate that the breakdown of the roughly 300-seat studio went something like this:

hard core glamberts = 100
Shaun White fans = 75
Jay Leno fans = 75
everybody else = 50 -- of which WE were only about a dozen

LOL!

Yeah, I found that one -- but Karl's head looked a little off.

(It still works, though!)

With Romney hawking his book and trolling his sick wife for sympathy votes on tv, Romney fans cry, “Look to Mitt!!!”

Romney is unacceptable. He made socialized medicine into law in Massachusetts. An alternative to Palin, Romney, Huckabee, and Pawlenty would be Mitch Daniels, Gov. of IN.

I am working on a NEW thread about them, potentially titled:

FReeping Sarah Palin with “palm prints.”
Could “Notes on the Hand” be the next “Pants on the Ground”?

(Full disclosure: I stole that second part from the Boyz at HillBuzz.com.)

- - - - - -

A NEW THREAD! I can hardly contain my excitement.

LOL. Yes, “Notes on the Hand” *can be* the next “Pants on the Ground” !!!

I don’t think I’d term it unbiased, but I didn’t have to stretch the truth either. LOL

Hey, I think I missed one of your posts to me a couple of days ago.

It wasn’t intentional. I was using my phone and didn’t see it until a day or so later.

Not unbiased? Well, I thought your comments were fair. I noted that you said you were seated in the middle and looked both ways. I don’t recall posting to you recently, other than just now. I wish I had been able to attend the taping with you all. Next time!!!!

If Lambert fans like Sarah and vote for her — there’s nothing wrong with that. But if a Lambert/Sarah fan wants to run for political office or party committee, then and only then should the tent close if thresholds aren’t met.

“Never thought I’d see another Reagan in my lifetime, but whether she runs or not, she’ll be a force for conservative values and an advocate for the silent majority in flyover country.”

BINGO! You nailed my views on Palin 100%. She’s out there discrediting the “trailer trash” image the leftists and media created. She knows she drives the left mentally insane. She knows she draws huge crowds and motivates people. She uses that star power and delivers a fantastic message. If she knows she has no chance to win in 2012, she will support someone who will win that shares her political views.

Unlike our Narcissist in Chief, she is humbled by this star power, not fueled by it. The left invested a lot of hate in her this past year. The more she appears on these “cesspool” shows, the more it discredits the left’s stupid lies about her. Sure, it may make her seem less presidential, but I do not the Presidency is her goal for 2012.

I think her goal for 2012 is to use her talents to get America back on the right track (pun intended) and help put an end to the liberal lunacy running rampant in Washington. Again, the Democrats made her public enemy #1. Obama campaigned against HER ... not McCain ... for the most part. They burned up a lot of their “hate capital” on her. Should the Republicans come to their senses and run someone conservative in 2012, their sick tactics aren’t going to be nearly as effective. The right can point to the attacks on Sarah Palin and simply claim “Look, they did the same thing to her ... don’t you think they may be lying as usual?”

It’s almost as if Palin knew she was instantly the victim of the Saul Alinsky playbook ... she took the initial abuse, accepted it, gladly became isolated, then fought back effectively when the left made her one of the faces of Conservatism. If she simply remains a strong, powerful voice for Conservatism, we win, and the left loses a ton of credibility with the Independents. Moreover, she’s very young. She’ll have plenty of opportunities to run for President. It’s not like her political career hinges on 2012 unlike the Marxist’s in the White House.

Just my (rambling) thoughts :-)!
