In perhaps the worst possible development for the radical left since the discovery of Karl Rove's now infamous "Weather Machine," Governor Palin's recently exposed top secret "laugh track" machine appears to also have even more dastardly powers than were originally feared. In addition to altering the space-time continuum, and reprogramming the master computers at NBC to cause laughter during Sarah's monologue to appear where none had been before, and send well-intentioned jeers and "groans" from her wannabe stalkers into the abyss this mysterious device apparently also exerts some kind of irresistible mind control powers over the loyal fans of "American Idol" megastar Adam Lambert, causing many of them to actually like the producer of the upcoming new "Alaska Valley Days" TV series, Governor Sarah Palin.
Or, at least, that's what the Kos Kids would like you to believe.
Many of those wacky ultra-left "conspiracy-mongers" who post at such online cesspools as the Daily Kos, Huffpo and DU have been foaming at the mouth all week about Sarah's "rock star" performance during for last week's taping of "Day Two" of Jay Leno's return to the traditional 11:35 pm time slot for the "Tonight Show."
Since I was actually in the studio audience last week when Governor Palin made her "comedy debut" with a small band of "Palin palm print"-bearing FReepers (and FRiends) who had crashed the party with the intention of acting as "Ed McMahon" to Sarah's "Johnny Carson" I call BS on their widely-reported, but easily-debunked, "laugh track" conspiracy theory.
In my not so humble opinion, however, the REAL "back story" behind last week's studio audience, which has naturally NOT been covered in the "State-Controlled Media" was that a huge percentage of that relatively "pro-Palin" audience last week were "glamberts" that is, hard core fans of "American Idol" singer Adam Lambert, whom many music lovers view as a contemporary reincarnation of Elvis. (Or, perhaps Liberace.)
In this thread, which will serve as the "after action" report for our recent Leno FReep, I intend to explore this strange and very unexpected (to me) twist on the controversial "big tent" philosophy of the new Republican party. And that strange new twist is, many Adam Lambert fans support Sarah Palin!
I am particularly interested in hearing on this thread from ADAM LAMBERT FANS who support Sarah Palin, but I would also like to hear from CONSERVATIVES who may have reservations about welcoming this new group of Palin supporters, many of whom have been NOT previously been engaged (or informed) in the political arena.
Personally, I like the concept of "My tent, my rules."
That is, we welcome the electoral support of just about ANYBODY but only on OUR terms. I believe that the conservative political movement should be like America itself: everyone is welcome here IF you agree to certain fundamental, non-negotiable principles.
Please post YOUR comments and opinions about Sarah Palin and the "glamberts" here.
Thank you,
RonDog
Swill back over and over and over again, fall backward!
All I had to do was hear it on MSNBC and I knew it was a lie.
LLS
Cut it twice and it was still too short, eh?

Where are the palm pics?
Surprised I havn’t seen Queen or AC/DC (love ‘em both) mentioned.
OOps...ok, surprised not to see AC/DC mentioned.
The Evil Rove had other devices that were much more effective...:)
Good thing we had quite a few FReepers there in L.A. at the taping of the show. They attest to the fact that it was real applause and real laughter.
I know that my Daughter, who doesn’t consider herself “republican”, loves both Adam Lambert AND Sarah Palin.
“Supporting a hypocrite like McCain on National network television is against conservative principle.....And dont give me the its okay bullcrap.....Tired of hearing that here.....Are people here conservatives or not?....NO EXCUSES...”
Maybe you’re not a conservative. Maybe you’re shilling for a RINO. You’ve been here, what a year? We should trust you?
“She should have said NO to being on the ticket with him in 2008”
LOL.
Your novice political logic would see RINOs balancing their tickets with ....drumroll....more RINOs. That would be great, let’s just shut all conservatives out of national office for purity tests.
You missed my point entirely.
Where are the palm pics?Soon. Maybe tonight/tomorrow.
And even then, they're won't be very many of them -- from THIS event. We just ran out of time. :(Setting up the "laugh track" machine, and melting the brains of the glamberts took longer than we expected -- and then they wouldn't let us take any photographs, once we were inside the NBC compound.
I am working on a NEW thread about them, potentially titled:
FReeping Sarah Palin with "palm prints."(Full disclosure: I stole that second part from the Boyz at HillBuzz.com.)
Could "Notes on the Hand" be the next "Pants on the Ground"?
I don’t think so.
Then you didn’t comprehend my original post.
Here is your entire post:
“She didn’t fall into McCains trap, she walked into a trap of her own making, and she has not one to blame but herself.
She could have avoided all this by simply realizing that if he was good enough to be President, and gave him her endorsement for that position, she might have to endorse him as being good enough to be a Senator.
She should have said NO to being on the ticket with him in 2008.
It’s her own doing, not McCains. She could have said no.”
Appears to be fully self-explanatory.
There is NOTHING like having a thread posted here in the "Breaking News" sidebar at Free Republic to get the attention of the blogosphere -- particularly when it is about a "hot" topic like this one. :o)
From a Google search for "Sarah Palin's secret laugh track machine at Jay Leno show":
Results 1 - 10 of about 966 for "Sarah Palin's secret laugh track machine at Jay Leno show". (0.22 seconds)Thank you for keeping it there, Jim -- and the "Mod Squad"!
(I just posted this thread THIS MORNING!)
