WASHINGTON – Massachusetts Rep. William Delahunt has decided not to run for re-election.

The seven-term Democrat said Thursday night that his decision was not motivated by political concerns.

He says in a statement that "he's been "wrestling with this decision for a while."

Democrats can win if they get their slaves to the polls.

But they can't, because Democrat slaves don't vote in mid-term elections.

The voter turnout here in Collin County, Texas was something like 10 to 1 Republican. It took an hour in line to get to the voting booth.

Our side is more fired up than at any time in living memory. Their side - not so much. They already got their candy man, and have gone back to sleep because the LSM has told them that "All is well. Obama's in control."

Oh.....so he was the one who was the DA in that case. Dang. Wish now he’d stayed and run again. We’d have a good shot at taking that seat.

Even tho MA is a Dem state, if people are still as mad in November at the Democrats as they are today, we might pick up “open” seat.

I don’t buy it. MA let Tub ‘O Lard Kennedy skate for 35 years through his death and continuing on probably forever. Why would they hold Delahunt accountable for something the cops signed off on?

I think it has more to do with the fact that his constituents probably went real strong for Brown and he knows they’re going to boot his ass for being a big tax-and-spend zero follower and deathcare supporter. Remember, MA has the Romneycare failure as their model and they don’t want zero’s deathcare.

It means the rats are forcing another “Hail Mary” retirement. They know this guy can’t win because he’s got deathcare and big spending taint on him. The rats are driving him out so they can put up an untainted “conservative” “blue dog” for a “Hail Mary” run in his place.

If they get health care passed, the Obama Junta will have control over us all, plus 6 trillion dollars in cash flow from health care to help fleece the 14.7 Trillion he has borrowed. If Obama does not get Health care passed he will seek other more totalitarian controls through the IRS and taxation, conversion of IRA accounts to government use, in exchange for government issued IOUs, and cause enough unrest to perhaps declare matial law and postpone elections.

Yep, and that's the whole point of this legislation. That and turning the Bill of Rights on its head. The idea of collective rights will supersede our traditional view of rights as individual. HCR is the lynch pin to complete destruction of our founding principles.

Here it comes: Confiscation of IRA's, Profit Sharing programs, any Retirement account. "But they're going to guaranteed by Government Bonds!" Yeah, right. . . .

Thats right, any IRA which has a tax deferred status is “owned “ by the government.

DOANCHA KNOW?

ANY ONE WHO IS STILL HOLDING MONEY IN AN IRA NEEDS TO TAKE THE PENALTIES AND GET OUT , NOW!!!

Like most Americans, I will refuse to obey the health care law if passed.

Many health professionals will as well.

It is unconstitutional in its process and in its substance.

Civil disobedence is about to happen in order to preserve individual liberty.

I hope most will defy it.

Many health professionals will as well.

There are three main things that HCR will destroy IMO. The economy, the principle of individual rights and the health care system itself. It is hard to pick which is the worst evil since the loss of any of those three would bring about massive suffering.

Regarding health care it will instantly create a much bigger shortage of doctors to patients as doctors become swamped with appointments for things people usually don't go to a doctor about. Good doctors and nurses will abandon the field as they find both their prosperity and liberty have been drastically reduced and they are forced to deal with mountains of unfeeling and unthinking bureaucracy and loads of patients with an entitlement mentality.

Government will spend tons more money than has already been considered to try and fill that void. Medical schools will be forced to lower their standards in order to try and achieve that and those entering medicine will be of a much lower caliber.

Once government is asked to fix a problem they will consider it their mandate to control it all and won't allow anyone else to participate. As usual they will create problems and campaign on fixing them.

I’ll be going off shore for medical attention.Canadian doctors love cash customers in their socialized medicine system.

Good post, two of my doctors have already told me they will be giving up their practices if this goes through. The two I need the most.
