Delahunt is retiring due to sickness. The voters are sick of him
This is the least Democratic district in Massachusetts. With no incumbent running, a Republican has a real shot here.
Some of the collectivists/statists/progressives/criminals should be allowed to resign and go back to their families.
Others...

Excellent!
It’s official...Another one bites the dust....
Delahunt has come under fire in Massachusetts recently for his handling of the 1986 shooting in which Amy Bishop, the University of Alabama professor, killed her brother. At the time, Delahunt was the local district attorney and he accepted the findings of the local and state police that Bishop's shooting of her brother was accidental.
He may have to answer for his actions.
And a slimier, more twisted leftist you couldn’t find.
This is good news for Massachusetts- if they can get even a decent person to run for his seat.
How many does that make now? I’m starting to lose count.
The Rats are jumping the ship. Yes the sinking ship.
Translation: He was emptying his campaign coffers with lavish dinners and paying out exhorbitant money to family members in the last year. He was making no secret he was not seeking re-election. He didn't even try to raise money in the 4th quarter.
**seven-term Democrat **
Can another Republican be elected in MA? Double victory of a sort?
Steve walks warily down the street, his brim pulled way down low...
IIRC Brown won his district big time....THE WRITING IS ON THE WALL....and it says: “U R Done!”
Does this mean anything?
Considering the numbers of congress criters who have announced that they will not seek reelection, someone should look into what committees they serve on - perhaps there is some information out there in la la land that is leading them to make the decision to get out of politics?
Enough that we need both hand and maybe take off our shoes too.
And another one bites the dust Boom Boom. Amen.
