This sounds alot like the tax guy that crashed his plane into the IRS office. While some of it would resound with some of us freepers (me included) - the conspiracy theory crap is, well, crap.

I wonder what it is with the conspiracy types that seem to drive them over the edge? I guess perhaps a bit of paranoid-schizofrenic in them. I imagine all of us have that to a degree, but never act on it fully. For example, watching a show on burglaries and how to prevent them. Then going out and buying better locks for the doors. But - I didn’t take it to the extreme of putting iron cross bars and timer locks on the doors and a moat around the back yard!

He sounds like a Lyndon LaRouche follower, is what he sounds like.

There are only two places that I’m aware, where one could plausibly encounter people who think like this, who seriously believe such a mishmash of extreme left and extreme right simultaneously. LaRouche, and far left libertarian. Left libertarian has always struck me as a conflict in terms, self negating. LaRouche is a cult. You should read about their “ego stripping” confrontation therapy. Sounds like it would sent certain sorts straight ‘round the bend into this sort of thing.

Come to think of it, all those “Obama-Hitler” posters, that the MSM tried so hard to pin on Tea Party conservatives, were wielded by LaRouche followers. They can’t come right out and pin it on LaRouche because he’s a Democrat, and a frequent Democrat Presidential candidate, to boot.

This guys history is already being scrubbed - wiki being the most blatant about it so far. I’m downloading everything I can find that may not disappear and will get it uploaded to the net so it can’t be scrubbed.

Linking to sites may not be enough this time - the Obots are working overtime to scrub this guy into a “teabagger”. Once again it’s up to FR to assure the truth stays out there.

He lived in Austin Texax before moving back in with mommy and daddy, I’m trying to find all I can on that part of his life.

F & F opend the 7 am hour with this- they mentioned the truther connection- some anti-military sentiment and something about a marine who committed suicide years ago being a cover-up by the government.

I did know that nearly 20,000 people had read this FR thread since it started yesterday. The lurks of FR have increased DRAMATICALLY in the last year or so. This creates great opportunities, but also entrusts us with even more responsibility to be exact and GOOD.

I am sure in the 20,000 are, included, top brass at the Pentagon, worldwide journalists (for clues), minions and bootlickers in the basement of the DNC seething in fear and jealousy at how we manage to do it, the National Security Council, American MSM, and hundreds upon hundreds of Americans wanting news from a quick, alternative source that beats the dinosaurs in many ways--maybe even the President of the United States himself.

The minute this story broke, I knew what kind of sanitizing of sites would take place, particularly if libs or progressive nutbags were involved or touching it in any way whatsoever, so, post haste, I went to all kinds of websites on this shooter fellow and archived as well as hard copied, copiously I might add. Then, over the passing hours in revisiting some of these sites, I saw the SAME PATTERN WE HAVE SEEN IN THE PAST. Parts of pages and whole pages being hurredly taken down. Wayback Machine and some other friends get around that, though. They cannot spike this story, as Andrew Breitbart has put it, the American MSM establishment media is on its way OUT! Do they even realize it, this "Army of Davids" right on their tails, and capturing the imagination (and keyboard time) of even more and more of our fellow Americans? And now that the freak is dead and on a slab, these past peaks at his true life are all the more important.

Just like we have a MODERATOR TEAM 24 / 7, I think we might want to start thinking about FR having a dedicated "EMERGENCY ARCHIVAL TEAM" of cybersleuthing Open Source FR warriors around the world, on call at any time in volunteer shifts if possible, to immediately render the sites that might be taken down because of liberal or establishment embarrasssment or corruption, into reliable, inextinguishable formats for future reference and support of the facts (when challenged or when ignorance is feigned). Some folks are good at digging, but don't know how to save. Some are real wizards on saving this stuff but not so hot in the quick, emergency search mode. As a cohesive team we could really catapult FR as a great place to come to get the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Something that will drive liberal socialists bonkers now doubt.

Excellent points. When a big story hits- we start digging- lots of us and sometimes in that process we hit a dead end or identify the wrong John Doe. But what’s great is the teamwork- when someone learns they’ve gone down the wrong road they simply change direction. It’s important for lurkers to understand (though I’m sure not all do) that digging for facts is ongoing- it’s a scavenger hunt- not paint-by-numbers. We don’t start out knowing all the facts and just fill in the details.

I’ve seen other sites do this a little bit -but I’ve never seen anything like the collaborative effort of freepers on the trail of a story.

Yep. Something like that. It would really bring organized value add to this FR site and really make it rock to the umpth degree. Even Jim’s driving mission for the site is and has been to “expose corruption”, so it is in agreement. A critical part of that is developing a vigilant infrastructure which shines a constant Light (TRUTH) on Darkness (LIES), said Darkness due to its nature as evil preferring the shadows if not obliteration from the public domain if at all possible of these sordid things, whereas we often want to pull this from the dark cave of obfuscation and corruption—warts and all—and put on display for all to see, one and all, worldwide. I see it as a fundamental battle and fundamental to our victory in so many areas and on so many fronts.
