A 14-year-old Georgia girl who had been missing for more than a week was found Wednesday night when police raided a house in a community not far from her home.
Amber Graham of Aragon, Ga., was found in a house in the nearby town of Rockmart.
Police, using a search warrant based on a tip, arrested the occupants of the home: Stacie Fennell and her 15-year-old son, who was identified as the girl's boyfriend.
Authorities said Amber was unharmed.
Fennell and the boy, who was not named because he is a juvenile, have been charged with obstruction of justice, hindering an investigation and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to Aragon Police Captain Dwayne Alexander. The pair are currently being held, pending a court hearing.
Alexander said Amber originally went along with a scheme to run away to the Fennell home, but she seemed relieved when police raided the home. According to Alexander, police learned that the boy had a hidden compartment in his room that allowed Amber to avoid a consensual search of the house last week.

“Also taken away from Fennell’s home were the family’s 18 cats and three dogs.”
They better watch that Fennell family. That’s some seriously disturbed behavior.
If the ALA, NEA, and Safe Schools Czar have not been charged with this same offense, then it is pointless to keep it on the books.
That should be called “herding cats.”
He wasn't named because he is a juvenile, but he was identified as the 15 y/o son of Stacie Fennell.
No. From the story:"According to Alexander, police learned that the boy had a hidden compartment in his room that allowed Amber to avoid a consensual search of the house last week."
SO a WEEK AGO, they visited the home of the boyfriend and searched the house, but SHE AVOIDED the search in a hidden compartment in his room.
Man, now that’s just wrong on so many levels.
Lots of questions left unanswered. Just how “secret” is that attic space? It could be that the police just didn’t do a good enough job searching the house the first time or this family is up to something more sinister. Boy up on drug charges and now possible kidnapping if she turns on him. What about her cell phone? Was she able to make calls or was it taken away? Frankly, I don’t know what punishment would be severe enough for the girl in putting her family, the community, and the police through all of that.
Good catch in the coverage. Thanks.
Shouldn’t the girl be charged too? Whatever the 15 yo boy did, the 14 yo girl participated willingly. What’s the diff?
Sounds like this time it was consensual, so the girl is partly to blame. I say charge 'em all. And I say (again) keep a close eye on that Fennell family.
Charges and blame aside, I just glad this girl is unharmed. I’m still shook up over the Chelsea King rape and murder. How do you protect your children when there are monsters loose. Unspeakably evil monsters.
However, lying to the cops when they knock on your door is.
Reminds me of a similar incident about 5 years ago where a 20 yo guy went to the house of a 12 yo girl for sex. Got caught. The prosecutor said that the girl set the whole thing up and was the "brains" behind it. Talked the guy into it (I wonder how hard that was?) The prosecutor was lamenting that she was too young to get charged with anything. The guy got jail time and listed on the sexual offender database, and she just went back to school.

What’s the problem?
I admit, I was scared watching that. Thanks for ruining my afternoon! j/k
