Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is meeting with television executives this week to pitch a documentary about her home state, FOX has learned. Despite several media reports that the project was a reality show, Fox411 confirms that it is a documentary that will focus on the people, geography and wildlife of Alaska. A source close to Palin says the show has absolutely nothing to do with her personal life or her family. Palin is teaming up with Survivor creator Mark Burnett and Robert Barnett to produce the project, sources tell Fox. The group is in Los Angeles this week meeting with network heads about the documentary, and there is already great interest in it. In total, the group will meet with six different networks."

Well, this is a far cry from peddling a reality show idea.
This one is a nice idea.
Not in this article but another one from a trade magazine described what was being pitched as an "Earth" type show that depicts Alaska's natural beauty and the people who live there.
Your 4 posts are proof it is never too late.
just kiddin’ ya.
i guess but i wonder if they even understand how deranged they sound.
I heard it. Brian Kilmeade relayed what she said over the phone. It’s not about her or her family, it’s about Alaska.
What YOU said,
I miss the 'good ole days' at FR - and the Viking Kitties! that guarded the gates.
Maybe he’ll do it like he did “Live for the Moment” and talk about real people overcoming real obstacles and making great achievements- a series that has very strong Conservative overtones.
Which, to be fair, is what the original reports said. The question is whether Palin or her family would be featured, say as narrators or adventurers out in the wild.
Did she deny that her family would be on camera at all?
Again, thanks.
Bottomline, what ever a man does in his own house is his own business. Palin screams this sorta freedoms; why she was so well liked here in Ak. The wilderness is just t he icing on the cake.
I replayed what Kilmeade said. That’s all he said.
She could change her fingernail color and the PMS folks would use it to attack her. As I explained to the infamous Palin hater BobJ- the level of Palin devotion is directly proportional to the level of Palin attacks.
Maybe she wants to avoid the outfits that are wont to put their political spin into whatever they do????
Hmmmm?
I sure trust HER judgment over - ah, say - yours.
I also suspect the same. They need to get National Geographic or The Discovery Channel involved in the filming. They have brilliant cinematographers.
..and unlike National Geographic- getting Burnett involved means you won’t need any of that taxpayer PBS funding to make it happen.
