Kesha Rogers won the Democratic nomination for Texas 22nd congressional district on Tuesday, meaning shell face freshman incumbent Pete Olson in the fall.
What makes this noteworthy is that Rogers campaign platform is unusually ambitious. In addition to opposing Wall Street and bailouts, it includes impeaching President Obama as well as colonizing outer space. Seriously.
Rogers is a follower of the perennial presidential Lyndon LaRouche. He is, to put it mildly, a barking mad kook known for bizarre conspiracy theories such as that the Queen of England is behind the worldwide drug trade.

You mean she's not??? :)
The only quibble I have with her position is that the grounds for impeachment are still vague at best, which (LaRouche aside) puts her in tin-foil territory.
I’m all for impeaching the Kenyan/Indonesian, but only on valid grounds. We went through impeachment with the Bent One, and weren’t able to follow through because the evidence wasn’t absolutely air-tight. I don’t want to get halfway through an impeachment process only to have one of the chambers give up.
Should have guessed she was a LRouche person — one problem is that once she would get in office, she would be another vote for the Democrats in the House who stick together pretty much and she would help elect Peloso to a 3rd term.
I almost hope she wins.
lol
The 22nd is the home of NASA’s Johnson Space Center soon to lose thousands of jobs, and the housing in this area will drop like Obamas ratings. Good luck on getting elected as a Democrat, much less a marxist Kesha.
LOL!!!
“bizarre conspiracy theories such as that the Queen of England is behind the worldwide drug trade”
It was Queen Victoria!

These folks also said at some point that Sen Jesse Helms was a tool of the communists! At that point I knew they were just nuts.
For some reason the LaRoucheskis have always been really active in that area. When I worked down there, they'd be out every Saturday, standing on the medians holding signs -- usually "build beam weapons" and such. They all looked like engineers....
One year, they got a person elected chairman of the Harris County Democrat Party. It was very amusing to watch the Dems' conniptions over the fact that the guy was also black.
The 14th is just south of the 22nd and we got gerrymandered into Ron Pauls district. Plenty of Paulistas around here too. Must be the water.
Racist.....errr, “white right”.....errr....my bad.
“No of course not, it’s Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. She has the drug trade franchise, Queen Elizabeth II runs the illegal whiskey distribution.”
I thought QEII was in charge of the Atlanta Child Murderers.
Did business get thin?

Wasn't "air-tight". It was absolutely air-tight. Clinton committed perjury in a federal court, not to mention several counts of obstruction of justice, trying to get his ass out of a legitimate lawsuit.
The judge knew it. And the special prosecutor knew it.
When the Senate failed to act, the judge found him guilty and the special prosecutor withdrew his bar privileges.
The Democrats stymied a legitimate impeachment action. After the trial, Robert Byrd was asked if perjury "rose to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors". He responded "absolutely".
He wasn't asked why, under those circumstances, he chose to acquit.
