Anxious White men: House Democrat’s worst nightmare
The Collins Report ^ | March 4, 2010 | Fritz Wenzel

Posted on 03/04/2010 6:05:30 AM PST by jmaroneps37

The economic downturn has affected men much more than women who now represent a majority of the workforce. Many more men than women have been laid off, and the data indicates they are very anxious about this.

As Newton’s Third Law says: every action results in an equal and opposite reaction, the stage is now set for the reaction.

It may well come in November’s General Elections.

My survey work, nationally, statewide, and in local political jurisdictions, is showing white men are much more likely to look more negatively toward the federal government and more favorably toward the Tea Party movement. Washington’s failure to heed the concerns of its constituents is having its effect.

Forget the Angry White Male. Today, it’s the Anxious White Male.

A recent national Wenzel Strategies telephone survey, commissioned by WorldNetDaily.com, showed men lead 50/38 among those who have a “very positive” view of the Tea Party movement.

Very Strong “index rating”

An index rating generated by subtracting those who are “very negative” toward the Tea Party movement from those with a “very positive” opinion, shows men are much more positively disposed toward the ideals of the “Tea Partiers.” Among women, the index is +14 percentage points, for men it’s +29 points.

Index ratings measure intensity of emotion, and in politics, intensity, both positive and negative, equates to motivation that gets people to the polls.

Congress in serious trouble

When our poll of likely voters asked whether they thought Congress was doing a good or a bad job, 51% of women, but 69% of men said Congress was doing a “poor” job.

While Obama’s job approval rating in my latest national polling is 45%, just 12% give Congress positive job marks. Trouble with anxious men can bring incumbent Democrats big trouble in November.

Once all the provisions take effect, I agree.
But obambi doesn't want it to take effect until after he leaves his second term. After the people fumigate the WH in 2012, we'll have fore years to euthanize the beast before it is set loose. This could easily be done.

I wish.
Look as Social Security. It needs serious repairs and privatization. Ain’t gonna happen. Same thing for Medicare/Medicaid.
Since the 1960’s name ONE large government program that has been repealed.
Hell, name a small one. There aren’t any.

I really wish you would have just put a link with a warning instead of that photo...that’s just tragic

It is quite a phenomenon how 50 years of institutional brainwashing of students has led to such a pervasive sense of white guilt. Without any alternative media(like Foxnews) Walter Cronkite, Peter Jennings, and Dan Rather types were able to help the educational system teach young white males that they were homophobic, racist, sexists. This has contributed to their relative absence these days on college campuses, and has led to them accepting laws that discriminate against them for jobs and acceptance into schools. Seems to me that too many young white boys are content playing video games and living with mom and dad until they are 30. This is partly the fault of our institutions—schools, media, judicial declarations, etc. I’m not confident that the AWM will be able to overcome this subtle yet powerful brainwashing.

There are countries with very few White men. I wonder how many of those critics would like to live in them.

You can only pick on and smear a group of people, in this case, straight white men, for so long before they react.

That is why we need to go all in to fight this. IT MUST NOT PASS.

I would like to send a few over there. Good point. Isn’t it funny that the same liberal tolerant @#$holes that are so quick to point out the racism that they see in others always live in lily white communities. Their kids all go to lily white private schools. In the 60’s and 70’s this same breed demanded that only forced integration of schools(other people’s schools) could get us all to ‘get along’ as Rodney King would say. How could the population in this country go along with such trash? That’s where the media was complicit with the liberal institutions. Pity. Many years lost.

Posting a news photograph from 32 years ago is “uncalled for”? Gimme a break.

No, but it is my opinion that showing a picture of bloated, rotting corpses is. Go ahead and defend your post but I have to stand for those poor people who were taken advantage of by a mad man.

No, repeatedly using a photograph of the rotting corpses of a misguided group of people just so you can post a quip [that's been used ad nauseum] about Democrats and Koolaid is what is uncalled for.

If you want to use dead people for your own political springboard, I can't stop you. I'm just disappointed someone who considers themselves Conservative would do such a thing.
