Yeah, I don’t wish any goodwill on two-faced Mitt...
...but...
...if I had Sarah Palin’s ear, would highly recommend that she gets serious & wonkish in her next public appearance. She needs to fight the perception that she’s a lightweight and a flake. The comedy stand-up routine, while fun, doesn’t do her any favors on that front.
As I’ve mentioned before, it would be great if she could find an executive level turn-around job to occupy her between now and when the election must heat up, to firm up her resume in the eyes of the mushy middle. (And the experience couldn’t hurt her in any event, anyways.)

Mitt has nothing to do with it.
Leno and Palin make the draw. So long Letterman.

Couldn’t disagree more. She has plenty of time to be ‘serious’. She had fun while Romney was a stuffed shirt.

Remember the long lines, big crowds in freezing weather for Sarah Palin’s book signing.
Mitt is starting out on his book signing in better weather but you know he would have to get rent a crowds in each town to match Sarah’s supporters.

Mitt probably helped Letterman’s miserable ratings- a little.

Letterman just keeps getting more smarmy and creepy. Leno is better “company”. And what's with Paul Schaffer? Leno's repartee with Kevin Eubanks is much better.
To: OldDeckHand
Oh figures you'd chime in. You can't stand Sarah anyway. What's one more stick to bear her with?
Let me ask you this... whoever you choose to support come 2012, when they make a 'celebrity' appearance, will you toss them aside too?

She verges on prattling at times in one on one situations, but excels in monologue or in speeches, imho. She’s witty, charming and smart, but not perfect.
Nobody is, not even the perfectly coiffed, startlingly well preserved and ever-so-cautious speaker Mitt Romney. It’s the difference between canned and fresh, Romney and Palin are
That’s ‘beat’ her with. Seems I need to beat myself with one to stop these typos!

I don't see Abe Lincoln doing stand-up.
To: rintense
Good luck with that. No wonder the brainwashed masses love American Idol so much.

Ok, so leaders can’t make non-news TV appearances. Gotcha. So what horse are you backing, Johnny?
