To 180 - Do you define "better place" as one where everyone agrees with you?
I myself don't see eye to eye with too many people here but I wouldn't desire to see them ousted.
What compels you to behave this way?

"I’m just interested in keeping FR a better place. Getting you shown the door out of here would help make my day a bit better."

I see. You don't want a Free Republic, you just want a republic that worships Sarah Palin. I get it. You're understood completely.

You do know the difference between a reality show and a documentary, right?

I don't disagree with ANY of Palin's stated political beliefs. But, she instills ABSOLUTELY no confidence in me that she can beat Barack Obama. She has yet to demonstrate that she can successfully navigate a hostile media interview.

Funny, you must have missed the interview with Matt Lauer after the Letterman crap.

She has yet to speak with any clarity or specificity about issues, other than an occasional blurb on her Facebook page.

Obviously you haven't read her book. If you do, you may realize what Rush Limbaugh did, that it was one of the most 'substantive policy books he's ever read'.

And the worst part, she quit the only job that reasonably qualified her for the office to which she may aspire.

Reasonably? How does being governor make her or anyone else *reasonably* qualified? What do you deem as truly qualified?

As for quitting, let me ask you this: if you hired a new executive to run finance, yet, they kept being pulled away by other departments from the job you hired them for, wouldn't you be mad- especially if your budget were being charged for what she was doing elsewhere?

It amazes me that some freepers can not see the integrity in the move she made. Right now, one of the tea party movement issues is based on the same premise- politicians NOT doing what they were elected to do. If this were the business world, and Palin were hired for a job, but only ended up doing 20% of it because she was being distracted, she would be fired. She did the honorable, ethical and moral thing.

Ronald Reagan was once a Democrat. Your point?

"You do know the difference between a reality show and a documentary, right? "

Yes, I believe I do. Reality shows are made by reality show producers, documentaries are made by documentarians. Mark Burnett is very much the former, not the latter. Of course, maybe it makes sense for Sarah Palin to partner with a guy who has NO EXPERIENCE producing documentaries, but has made a fortune making reality tv shows. Sure, that makes sense. /s

"Obviously you haven't read her book. If you do, you may realize what Rush Limbaugh did, that it was one of the most 'substantive policy books he's ever read'."

Then Rush needs to expand his library. I read the book and found it superficial and virtually devoid of policy content.

"As for quitting, let me ask you this: if you hired a new executive to run finance, yet, they kept being pulled away by other departments from the job you hired them for, wouldn't you be mad- especially if your budget were being charged for what she was doing elsewhere?"

Uhh, let me explain this to you - all politicians have political enemies. Those enemies don't magically go away when rising to President; Quite the contrary. Those enemies multiply and become even more ferocious, better funded, and better at what they do. If she can't vanquish her political foes in a state as sparsely populated as Alaska, how is she going to defend the White House?

Oh my goodness. Charles Krauthammer is one of the most articulate and powerful critics of Barack Obama in all of media. If you don't think Krauthammer is a Republican or a conservative, I don't even know how to respond.

Here’s a little bed-time reading for you,

I found the last blog comment interesting.

I am from the UK, and wonder what the manually redacted SSN field could possibly be?

Maybe this:
http://www.socialsecurity.gov/employer/stateweb.htm

The prefix 042 is *not* Illinois or Hawaii.

Sleep well

I see. So because someone has absolutely no experience in documentaries, they shouldn't even think or want to branch out, let alone jump on an opportunity to do something different. Gotcha.

Let me explain to you a little something about the way ethics charges work in Alaska: there is nothing currently in place to stop frivolous and unfounded accusations. Every one of them must be answered and given due process. As for vanquishing her foes in Alaska and the national stage- she did. She brought her conservatism south to the national stage, and has handled every attacked with alacrity and grace. The irony is, the leftist hacks in Alaska didn't make the 'bad dream' go away- they created a 'nightmare' for the Obama Admin.

As for a 'few facebook' posts, Palin has been out in front of every conservative and Republican when it comes to the chicanery of Obama. She has been the only conservative with kahunas big enough to challenge him immediately. Her post about death panels singled-handedly changed the direction of the healthcare debate.

Now tell me, what conservative/republican at this moment in time has the power to affect the MSM, leftists and the Obama admin in the same way?

'Because you can’t respond."

You're right. I have no idea how to communicate with someone who's completely separated from reality. You're a mystery.

It is amusing, the Palin bashers never say who they want for a candidate in 2012.

Their chicken shit answer is always too early or I don’t know.

The Palin Bashers don’t want to say because they can’t defend their candiate.

Yep, that's pretty much the size of it. If you need a heart surgeon, you don't decide the orthodontist needs a break, and let him crack your chest.

"Now tell me, what conservative/republican at this moment in time has the power to affect the MSM, leftists and the Obama admin in the same way? "

It seems pretty clear to me that Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan and several others did a mighty fine job countering Obama at his Obamacare summit. And, while Palin has been enjoying the good life at the Tonight Show green room, and Oscar lounges, Mike Pence, Jim Boehner, Jim DeMint and even Mitch McConnell have been appearing on Sunday morning talks shows, week after week making the case to the American people - IOW, doing the tough job of trying to govern.

Jim DeMint, Thune, Barbour or Pence. You know, people who don't cave at the sight of Katie Couric or Charlie Gibson, those kind of people.

How's that working, sweetie?

I see some of the morons who are reading the left wing smear articles about Sarah Palin the past few days love the
Left wing crap as it fits into their left wing views

NEW PALIN SHOW TO BE ALASKA DOCUMENTARY

New show would showcase Alaska.

Widespread reports are circulating that Governor Palin is shopping a TV series with the networks in Los Angeles.

Many reports have misled the public that this is a reality show about the Palin family.

The show will highlight Alaska, not Governor Palin or the Palin family. The new series is an opportunity to showcase Alaska’s people, cultures, resources, landscape and so forth

With that line of thinking, we would have never had Einstein's impact on science, since he was a patent clerk, a bunch of cheeky farmers would never have won independence, nor would an actor ever ascend to the Presidency.

The ObamaSummit? Wow, amazing since the healthcare debate is so brand new. Not like its been going on since January 2009 or anything. Where have those men been on energy? Small business? And where were they before these two words were spoken: 'death panels'.

Its pretty clear that you're an establishment type, meaning you don't like the boat rocked and like things handled in a tradition, predictable way.

I, on behalf of the thousands of Tea Party movement members, thank you for the inspiration.

The Couric propaganda has been gone over and to bad you haven’t been clued in.

They took minutes from a several hr. interview.

In the end, CBS was exposed for the left wing propaganda machine they are same with Gibson.
Gibson did’t know their were several Bush doctrines.

BTW rust belt poster, Gibson does not have his program
and Couric is about to be bounced at the end of the yr. while Sarah Palin’s base support expands.

Thune, Barbour or Pence

Maybe in Mayberry they would get votes but they would be
lucky to carry their own state if that.

BYW Barbour needs speech lessons in the English language
if he were to campaign outside of his state.
