AUBURN, NY--An Auburn stay-at-home dad pleaded for leniency at his sentencing Tuesday for possessing hundreds of child pornography images on his home computer.
Brien P. Fredendall, 31, of 7041 Potter Road, got a break from Judge Mark Fandrich. Fredendall was sentenced to four months in county jail on the felony child pornography charge and 10 years post-release supervision, Budelmann said.
Fredendall could have been imprisoned up to four years on the charge. Budelmann asked Fandrich to incarcerate Fredendall for six months plus the 10 years post-release supervision.
Fredendall asked for leniency so he could continue watching his children at home while his wife worked, Budelmann said
bullets are the answer
does anyone know exactly what kind of images? is it nasty stuff, or images of his own the kids in the bath, being delivered, and such that are actually innocent?
And then you’ll support his kids?
I’m guessing it is the nasty stuff. They usually catch these guys using Limeware or some other P2P. They download the videos not knowing that they are sharing them as well.
I think even the term “images” is a little squishy. I know that in some cases “thousands of images” was a way of describing a video clip, and IMO overselling it a little.
