Hollywood could do wonders with “My Mother The Car”.

Obama could make a surprise appearance — flipping people off and picking his nose.

Obama could make a surprise appearance flipping people off and picking his nose. Yeah in a remake of Flipper! lol

Be a great theme song. If Leno is ever convinced that Obama is a “flipper” and a “picker”, our president would be the lamest duck ever.

So far the guy reminds me of “Flubber”.

one wonders why reasonably intelligent people will commit money for this fiasco. you simply cannot remake GI. they’ll try to put some deeper meaning into it, and ruin it totally.
the only TV show that made good movies was the Babyloon 5 series, and those were only made for TV, adn not big screen.

An age discrimination suit was recently settled for writers. All the studios and producers want ideas only from kids and that’s what’s killing them. Of course, it’s mostly just kids who go see the crap anyway.

"Here's hoping Dawn Wells makes a cameo. ummmmm...Dawn Wells...." And the answer to the ever present question "Mary Ann or Ginger?" once again is "Mary Ann".

I could see the following:
Jim Carrey as Gilligan
Jim Belushi as The Skipper
Kelsey Grammer as Thurston Howell III
Wendie Malick (Nina from "Just Shoot Me") as Lovey Howell
To: Rastus
Yup. Loved the series—as a kid. Can’t imagine how they could dress it up to make me want to see it as an adult. Or maybe they’ll make it darker. Let’s see.....Thurston Howell III starts cannibalizing his fellow cataways....starting with MaryAnne.

"Thurston Howell III starts cannibalizing his fellow cataways....starting with MaryAnne." Strangely that is very close to one of my persistent dreams as a young man, with me playing the part of the millionaire that is...
(Wait, did I say that out-loud?)

With Sherwood Schwartz on board the show will be funny and maintain a decent course. He narrates the creation of Gilligan’s Island on the DVD set for first series and shows the pilot episode. The original series nearly never made it to TV because the Hollywood execs were not believers. IMO Gilligan’s Island may be the best TV series ever. Still good for a ton of laughs.

Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley from Harry Potter) as Gilligan

(If you aren't part of the solution, there is good money to be made prolonging the problem.)
