Meg Whitman - Californians, who do we have for Gov?
March 2, 2010 | NoRedTape

Posted on 03/02/2010 11:37:29 PM PST by NoRedTape

Every hour or so, there's a "Meg Whitman" for Gov ad on TV. She looks good; eBay CEO. Appears solid.
The 'buzzer sounds' end the momentum; a buzzer when Whitman says" ....she supports abortion rights - including public funding for abortions - and believes tough gun laws like assault weapon bans and handgun control are appropriate for California."

What the *&^%^**!!!

BZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Quoted from here.......

And now dismissed Cheese puff progressive "Jerry" Brown is throwing his hat in. I'm a native Californian and I'm really concerned. Who the heck do we have to vote for?

I’ve been to all 50 States. California is such a gorgeous State, but it is being ruined by “progressive” fools, AKA “libs” in Sacramento. I won’t give up. Whitman is OFF my list, but someone is bound to emerge that makes sense.

I’m living in California also, the only thing that could have gone more wrong for us, was that Romney itself actually buy a house here and try and take over the political machine as part of his war against conservatism.

In 2007, I would not have predicted that could have happened.

” California is such a gorgeous State,”

I agree. I have twin brothers,72, that lived all of their adult life in the San Francisco area. One is still there, and his twin, living in Paris, may come here to the Philippines.
I always enjoyed visiting the state, but the politics
and so many of the citizens are so screwed up.

No one. The "Golden State" is lost and I lived here all my life, with the exception of Spain for (3) years while Navy.

Think moving to a state that has no income tax and no liberal migration. I'm thinking Texas, with exception of Austin (very liberal). Unfortunately, the wife is obligated to her aging parents here in CA. If not for that, we would have been long gone to western Tejas - Amarillo or Lubbock.

We've also consider northern Arizona, but again family.

Tell me about it, I live in Cali, its been going downhill for a long long time now. For once I’d love to see a TRUE Conservative come here and try to fix things here. Whitman, I can’t stand her, can’t stand Fiorina either

I’m afraid that many will vote for Brown in some strange sense of nostalgia. Just like when you don’t remember all the jerky things your ex did, only the sweet things.

"What was wrong with Tom McClintock?"
--Nothing. Tom was a great choice; a very experienced voice, but he was overshadowed by Arnold during the first Race for Gov. At least he's an active Congressman now in CA.

Meg is even worse than you thought .. She thinks VAN JONES is a genius. I’ve seen the video - and her voice is clear and exact. She goes on and on about how brilliant he is.

She may have good business skills, but her left-leaning views on many issues makes her a RINO repub .. and I just can’t see myself voting for her.

Don’t vote for Whitman. If Whitman gets elected and you voted for her it will not be long after she takes office that you will realize it was the biggest mistaken vote you ever made. Do your homework on Whitman.
