Excellent! I hope the Truther loses, too.

Looks like it’ll be Bill White former Houston mayor. Worked in Clintoon’s administration I think. Typical Demonrat....

Uh, do you know how this primary system works? She doesn’t need to conceed she’s lost. If no one takes 50% of the vote there is a runoff between the top two. Medina isn’t in that list./ KBH was and she’s conceding. However 50% and Perry wins utright and no runoff anyway. Either way the truther is done unles she wants to run independently where she;d get her butt kicked even more.

Yes, it’s good news from where I’m standing. Rick Perry isn’t the greatest, but he’s far better than Kay Bailey Hutchison.

I was listening to a TX radio station coming home tonight. They had some light in the loafers DemocRAT strategist on talking about the election. Matt somebody. If you are a conservative, PREPARE TO BE CALLED A RACIST AND A HATER a lot, and I mean a lot, between now and November. The girlyman started every sentence off with the “racists and haters on the right”. I’m starting to see a pattern building. The White Commies are going to be throwing the race card all over the place. It’s all the commie piggies have.

Is she in the Senate? Good news for TX. She’s a RINO.

Oh... Well, that depends on what KBH does. She still hasn’t resigned.
However, should she retain her post I think there will be a promising challenger to her senate seat. Michael Williams, who was Railroad Commissioner here, has been gearing up for the run. He is a conservative who walks the talk.

He said he's still chairman, not leaving.

Dang...it just occured to me that the local news will run long because of the elections, so Leno will probably be delayed.
Oh, well...I’ll hang in and watch. :)

GW and GHW Bush, McCain, et al were all lining up behind KBH to oust a sitting Republican Governor, and yet they say conservatives are the ones dividing the party. Perry is not perfect, but he is no Rino as some here think.

Congratulations to Rick Perry and the Conservatives. In a way I wish I lived in Texas. It's one of the last bastions of freedom left in America.
But let's not be so tough on Republicans who are not Rick Perry types. I'm referring to California, where I live. The best we can do for governor is Meg Whitman. She's no Rick Perry but she's a damn site better than Jerry Brown. I wish we had a Rick Perry or Bob McDonnell running but we have settle for what we can get. I will be ruthlessly trashed by those who would rather lose than have a moderate Republican but I'm use to it. Not everywhere can we elect this type of politician. Where we can elect true Conservatives like Perry and McDonnell- great. But where we can't we will have to settle for fiscal conservatives like Whitman and Tom Campbell.
