LOL.......

Don’t forget the Gardisal and Toll Roads, Al Gore state coordinator in 1988, Mondale supporter in 1984, etc.

Please don’t let facts and issues get in the way of internet conspiracy theories. Perry is French and hates puppies, Medina (white) wants to kick all whites out of Texas, you know, just internet logic.

I find it very humorous that an anti-Medina person posts (more like spams) a mythical conspiracy theory about La Raza and Medina. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Has there been any speculation that after she loses, KBH would resign/retire immediately? Of course, that would let Perry name her successor, adding insult to injury. I’ve read that her campaign got off on the wrong foot with Texas voters because initially she waffled on whetehr or not she was going to resign from the Senate to run for governor..

Woa!.. My eyes!... My heart!....Medina is bad news for any who think voting for her “sends a message”...use your e-mail and send one direct to Washington..voting is about a qualified person to run the state. Medina has zip experience and will gladly bring in more from south of the border...though of course she says otherwise, like she’s not saying being a birther.

Having Perry win period is both insulting and injurious to Texas. The guy is a Democrat. Always has been and always will be.

I don’t get why we can’t give him the boot.

You earn the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot comment of the day.

Ironically, I think yours wins. It is quite relevant that any positive signs of turnout are meaningless if, as is the case in many Texas elections, people stop pulling the lever after the governor and U.S. Congressional races. In Dallas and Houston, greater Republican turnout doesn't always lead to winning elections.

The exact reason is that Perry is all talk and no action.

State sovereignty was supported by Thomas Jefferson and is a legal way to end DC’s contol over Texas. So why are we still accepting bogus federal laws as legitimate in TX?

State sovereignty is a great way to fight Obama’s nonsensical plans of government control. Even if Texas sends the best possible reps to Congress, we have no control over who the other states send.

State sovereignty is a message that should be sent by Texas, the greatest state in the union. It will quickly deflate DC’s lust for power and control.

Please explain to me WHY Texas has to conform to the belief systems of people from California and other states? The only thing that Texas needs to follow is the U.S. Constitution. We need a governor who is really going to do something about the feds and their regulations.

Actions are louder than words and Perry has had plenty of time to grow a spine... time to see if someone else will actually do what they say they will.

Ummmm. Yeeeeeah. Fundamental disagreement here.

I vote for candidates, not for parties. That’s how RINOs get elected year after year. If the Repubs want me to vote for their candidate, they can run a conservative. I say no thanks to the loser Juan McCains of the “conservative” party in the US.

An educated vote is the only useful vote. The fantasy that we’re better off with just any old Republican than any old Democrat is like saying that Rick Perry was a bad idea when he supported Al Gore for president (during the Reagan era, for crying out loud), but magically became a bastion of conservatism when he put the R next to his name.

But then a lot of people make that kind of ID-10-T error.

You want me to vote for a Republican in XYZ position? Run one that isn’t total CRAP.

What date is the runoff?

Do you really think that Ron Paul wanna be truther will get more than a couple of votes? People in Texas are smarter than that.

If you don’t like a candidate who is running as a Republican, don’t vote for him. If the only information you have about either candidate is his party affiliation, vote for the Republican.

*ping*

Two more votes for Gov. Goodhair. He ain't perfect, but he's better than anyone else running for the seat, imho.

“Texans made a decision about marriage and if there’s a state that has more lenient views than Texas, then maybe that’s a better place for them to live.”

LOL! patriot08 has been posting the same bogus crap for weeks now. She used to post that Medina was pro-abortion until I called her on it.

I probably should point out that Medina is not for ‘gay marriage’ or ‘drug legalization’ either. It’s a 10th amendment issue to Medina (and it should be to all real conservatives too). She wants Texas to make their own decision not be forced to conform to a federal decision.

But, since everyone seems to know she has no credibility...
