Happy Texas Independence Day!!
Remember to vote and then show up at your precinct meeting where you can throw a RINO to the curb (maybe)!!

1. What time do polls close?
2. What are the odds that Perry can win outright tonight? This outcome would help KILL Obamacare.

Other than the guberantorial primary, are there any races (statewide or Congress) that look interesting?

Hey Texans:
For those of us outside Texas, what is now going on with the Senate race? Is there a primary there also? I take it KBH cannot run in November for Senate? Is that special election to fill her seat off the table?
The little snippets of news do not seem to fit together.

I’m not thrilled about any of the Gov. candidates but the lean would go to Goodhair. At least he has trended back to conservative whereas KBH has proven to be a RINO inside the Beltway gal-—a lite version of Collins and Snowe from Maine. Medina hasn’t got a chance.

There is no Senate race in Texas this year unless and until KBH resigns her Senate seat. This seat is up in 2012. If KBH does resign, Perry would backfill the seat with a conservative, such as Michael Williams. I believe TX law requires that he face the voters for the 2-year window this November.
