Once and for all it should be noted that Al Gore is in urgent need of some kind of intervention by friends and/or family. I’m dead serious. Al is either having or on the road to a nervous breakdown or he’s become obsessed to the point of almost being completely psychotic. This obsession, this mania about ‘’global warming’’, he’s like Ahab for Heavens sake.
I wonder how he feels now that he was the reason a Mother and Father shot their children and then themselves due to fear of world destruction via global warming. I know it wasn’t directly his fault, but he was definately the catalyst.

Gates also delivered a very odd comment at around the 4:30 mark of the linked video where he maintains “if we do a really great job on vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that [his initial 2050 global population projection of 9-billion] by perhaps about 10 to 15 percent.”

Confirmational bias. Every “event” is proof of Global Warming, but ten-year trends are proof that the statistics are fallible.

You know, I dont necessarily disbelieve in the entire idea of AGW, I am a skeptic. However, the proponents have shot themselves in the foot by claiming that everything was related to Global Warming. Hurricanes, high temps, baldness. Well now that hurricanes are less numerous and severe, temps have leveled off and we have record cold days, and people are growing hair again, what do they have left to say? Oh sure, they try to modify their original message, but to the casual skeptic who _might_ have been amenable to having his mind changed, this crap will only harden them against the Global Warming Hysteria.
