1. Mitt Romney: Romney gave a command performance at CPAC -- delivering a solid speech aimed at establishing himself as the de facto leader of the party and offering a detailed critique of the Obama Administration and its policies. And, his decision to put Matt Rhoades, communications director of his 2008 presidential bid, in charge of his Free and Strong America PAC was a savvy move that won him kudos among party insiders. Romney appears far more at ease in this race than he did in 2008; he knows who he is and what he can (and can't) do -- a very important quality in politics. (Previous ranking: 3)

I believe he’s pro-life, Scalia-type constructivist, pro-business, a defense hawk, and gifted with skills you are born with.
I don’t believe you can govern a place like Mass. the same way you could Utah. I’m not as negative on Mitt as many others here are.
That is exactly what it is. Go back and look at what that reporter was writing three years ago.
I would ask him what have you done to oppose Obama? All hot air and no action gets no sympathy from me. Palin has been constantly attacked while Romney went into hibernation. Don’t want Romney at all.
Romney is #1 with RINOs
where’s the news again??
How about when he dropped his Republican registration in the 1980s because of President Reagan, or when he was giving money and fund raising only for liberal democrats for a while before he became a Republican again in 1993?
Mitt Romney: "I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush. I'm not trying to return to Reagan-Bush."
“The beginning of the media choosing our candidate?”
Precisely.
These are the same people who gave us TARP, right?
I dropped from the Republican Party as well because of the way Hastert ran the GOP so far off conservative principles. Granted, I’m not a reachable voter for any Democrat, but I think you’ll find many of us small government conservative libertarian leaning people who used to be die-hard GOP warriors. Now, I will wait until Sarah Palin becomes the leader of the GOP before I put the GOP pin on again.
2 and 3 are not so bad.
You must believe his odd and convenient, pro life epiphany that he claims in 2005 after that small conversation with that scientist, who says it didn't happen.
He sure wasn't a defense hawk before 2007, actually he had so many epiphanies from 2005 to 2007 in preparation for the primary, that a doctor might think that he was stroking out.
Go ahead and run him....he won’t get my vote.

Where does Mitt stand on the issues? Wherever he thinks the votes are. We need a courageous national leader in 2012, not a hedge fund manager.
LOL, Romney dropped out because President Reagan WAS leading on conservative principals. How is your action a defense of Mitt Romney?
I'd suggest we not give him a chance to become one again though.
The Republican Establishment is the problem!!
What conservative gives a flying leap what it thinks? If you’re conservative and let the RINO-led and Demrat owned GOP fool you again then shame on you. It’s really simple if you elect RINOs, RiNOs are what you will get—forever.
Yes, exactly. NO ROMNEY — EVER!
There’s a combo I hadn’t thought of yet..
Barbour/Palin ???
Hmmmm
WHAT do people see in Mitt Romney that I don’t??? PLEASE, somebody explain this to me!
Even Rush seems to like the guy. I just DON’T get it.
