Please excuse me for butting in. I have been following this whole thing very closely. I have never even heard a slight suggestion of fire.
We must all be wary here. It could be yet another hoax and someone delights in drawing a response. A fire has witnesses. It goes into the records one way or another. Like to see some proof of such a fire.

His mother was not married probably. She had Barry in Kenya out of wedlock. Maybe he has a Kenyan B.C.
Also, what about other people born in Hawaii about the same age as Obama? Were their birth certificates destroyed too, or was it a very, very focused fire?

Anyone who cares about their country would be very concerned that a POTUS had hidden every scrap of information of his life that he possibly could.
Add in his multiple Social Security numbers, unavailable passport and visa records, hidden academic records and university / law school output and you have a lot of reasons to suspect or believe this entire presidency is unconstitutional.
Maybe he was born in Seattle, and that would explain the announcements in the Hawaii papers, and how his mother was able to start college three weeks after he was born.
This site indicates there are three records for B. Obama in Hawaii.

I had heard the fire story once before but the supposed fire occurred at Barry’s house. It destroyed his BC but didn’t cause a lot of damage. That story was likened to “the dog ate my homework”.
The only thing bizarre about the issue is barry’s obsessive secrecy.
Did anyone ever see his mother and dads marriage license? Was it lost in Kenya?
I guess anyone who’s not NBC can run for prez. And if they (referring to the left now) press this person about any papers, he or she should refuse to show ‘em. And if they try to make him or her, he or she should holler “Discrimination!!”

A friend of mine thinks the same thing. Didn't Michelle Obama claim that Stanley was very single and pregnant with the "messiah"?
Self-destructing, like the tapes at the beginning of "Mission Impossible."
This is the first that I heard that a fire destroyed the original paperwork. Has that been stated before?
