I personally called the Vital Records department to ask about the system. I was running down a lie told by Jon Klein of CNN whom forced Lou Dobbs to reapet it. The lie was that there original documents were destroyed when HI went electronic. The woman heading Vital Records told me she didn't think the originals have been destroyed since the state pays so much to keep them in special storage for reference when a legal request is received which requires more than the electronic data.

This is just so much smoke and mirrors. The state of HI has not verified ANY image the affirmative action liar-in-chief has claimed is authentic. The writer of the piece is either stupid or inept ... very little in the article is factual, and borders on outright lying for Barry's sake. Axelgreasy wants the issue floating, unresolved.

Obama is discussing an interview that his father..well, that BO1 gave to the Honolulu Star-Bulletin upon his graduation from the University of Hawaii.
Barry describes how his father was angry and although his father did not personally experience segregation -
he “ detected “ discrimination and self segregation and scolded the university and society in the interview.
His father did note “ with amusement “ that Caucasians in Hawaii were often at the receiving end of discrimination.
BO1 seemed to have a big, old chip on his shoulder.
And BO2 was upset that in the long interview-he never mentioned that he had a wife or baby son.
Which was odd.
Barry blamed this omission on a fight between the parents or an editorial decision.
Anyway-Barry wrote on page 26

” I discovered the article, folded away among my birth certificate and old vaccination forms, when I was in high school.”

Neither his grandparents nor his mother had ever shown him the article
( which was odd ) and it seems Barry was snooping.
I wonder if whatever was on the BC sent Barry into his high school tailspin of smoking crack , pot, booze ,
poor grades and generally not giving a damn.
He wrote in his book that he came to realize that his grandfather was a typical white liar who
made up stories about the family and it’s history.
And his grandmother was only slightly more believeable.
He no longer trusted their version of events.

This article is full of propaganda, but did anybody notice this statement?

I’ve never, ever seen this allegation before. That the State of Hawaii had “much of the state’s archives” wiped out in a fire.

“Authorities in Hawaii have provided an electronic record of Obama’s birth because the paper copy was destroyed in a fire which wiped out much of the state's archives.” This is simply BS. Fire destroyed my, and my brothers, BC records but they were recreated and my mother was able to obtain duplicates(which got me into the army, a drivers license and enabled me to retire). This was back before computers were common(actually the only computers were tube filled monsters). I recently sent off for a duplicate because my "original" was getting a bit tattered. It took about 5 days from the time I ordered it 'till I recieved the new one.

So why does the Pres need an electronic copy when the rest of us who have had BCs destroyed by fire can get paper copies, complete with all pertinent info?

Interesting. In the Democrat primaries, if he is not challenged on this, he could be the nominee by January 2012.

At that point, if states demand documents, what will their strategy be? No way will he show the BC, because it gives evidence that he is a fraud. I suspect they will pull the race card and foment riots.

They have 24 months before they hit this State eligibility snag.

Only 18 months from now, if he has any challenge from inside his own party(s) (Communist/Democrat/Marxist/Socialist/Fascist) that might demand his BC.

The clock is ticking on this bomb.

I had heard the fire story once before but the supposed fire occurred at Barry’s house. It destroyed his BC but didn’t cause a lot of damage. That story was likened to “the dog ate my homework”.

can you recall how long ago you heard that story...or where it may have appeared? I would love to find it...

I don’t remember seeing an article per se. It was being discussed on a thread right after the press mistakenly said Hawaii had destroyed birth records. It was the next excuse.

Obama: Original Birth Certificate ‘Lost in House Fire’

Obama Birth Certificate Lost to Fire in 1972?

Responding to Hawaiian health officials, who confirmed that the President’s ‘long-form’ birth certificate has not been released to the public, President Barack Obama stated this morning that it is impossible for the papers to be released at all.

Through a spokesperson working for the Administration, the President now claims that his original birth certificate was lost in a fire in 1972. At the time, Mr. Obama was living with his grandparents in Honolulu.

“There was a small house fire in which the document was lost,” the spokesperson said. “That is why the President has been unable to comply with requests to release it. While the President understands the concerns of citizens, he hopes that this will put the matter to rest.”

This statement comes at a time when many people, widely known as ‘birthers,’ are questioning the birthplace of our current President. Though the ‘short-form’ birth certificate of Mr. Obama has been released, it has not quelled beliefs that he was born out of the United States, which would make him ineligible to be President.

“In reality, the short-form birth certificate should be enough,” the spokesperson continued. “I mean, not even everyone knows where they have their original certificate. The President is no different.”

According to reports in local newspapers, however, a fire was never reported at the President’s residence in the entirety of 1972. “The fire was small. They never reported it because it didn’t endanger the house.”

It is yet to be seen if this new evidence will end questions over the President’s place of birth. The President could not be reached for comment.
