Here in Indiana, several candidates for May's upcoming Republican primary are being challenged by party officials on the grounds that they are not entitled to run.
One candidate who asked to remain anonymous says he is a long time registered Republican and is being challenged on the grounds that he voted in 2008s Democratic primary. He states, I am a long time listener to the Rush Limbaugh show, during the primary season he came up with the strategy he called operation chaos. Thinking it would be fun to participate in upsetting the Democrats election plans, I did, never thinking it would be used against me, but it has possibly derailed my campaign.
In other areas, active members of the recent tea party movements are also being challenged by Republican Party Officials. Many are simply running to be delegates to the Republican State Convention. While others are running for office for the first time which is unnerving Republican Officials on the grounds that those running are either too green, too radical or simply unelectable. One wonders if this one reason they brought back from the dead one Dan Coats, whose residency for the past ten years, is in itself questionable to many except the same Republican hierarchy that challenges these newcomers.
get over it
Maybe the candidate quoted is too stupid to run.
get over what?

cheers
LOL!
GOP still acting stupidly.
indiana has open primary. i voted democrat to keep oblabo from winning the primary here and i did not have to state that i was voting dem.
Is there any record that you voted in the democratic primary?
BTW, if you pull off your caps key and clean underneath, it might start working again.
Actually, I love Rush, but never signed on to the Operation Chaos thing because I already knew Obama would be more dangerous than Clinton. The irony is that I mentioned chaos on a Limbaugh thread here before he came up with his idea. Unfortunately, pushing Obama over Clinton actually got us Obama. In retrospect, as Beck says (not RP), perhaps that has caused the country to stand up, but Obama can do so much damage before he’s out and that’s a problem.
my caps key is fine, thank you for your concern. i choose not to use it because capitalization is stupid and pointless.;)
In order to vote in a primary in Indiana you HAVE TO DECLARE A PARTY AFFILATION. Check your voting status, you’ll be surprised that you are listed most likely as a Democrat if you participated in “operation chaos”.
By the time Operation Chaos started, Obama was already going to be the candidate. The idea was that Hillary would do more to bloody Obama than any of the Republicans would ever do..so OC kept Hillary in the running longer than she would have if there were no OC.
If you are listed as a Democrat, you are a Democrat.
again in Indiana, to vote in a primary you have to DECLARE your party, so if you particapted in “operation chaos” you are now a registered democrat till next primary. Thus you are ineligable to run as a Republican in 2010.
Whatever. It makes you look uneducated or lazy.
