Washington (CNN) President Obama tersely reminded Sen. John McCain Thursday during the White House health care summit that, "We're not campaigning anymore. The election is over."
The president was referring to the 2008 presidential race, but McCain still has a Senate campaign to deal with back in Arizona. And on Friday, his re-election campaign released yet another radio spot, this time enlisting his fellow Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl to promote McCain's "conservative principles."
Kyl narrates the 30-second ad and tell listeners: "Arizona could have no stronger advocate than John. He's with me every step of the way in fighting for conservative principles in Washington."

Somehow, somewhere, Kyl has been severely compromised. Too bad there isn’t some wealthy Arizona conservative willing to pay for a full anal exam on Kyl. When I first saw him he was doing such a good impersonation of a conservative that he fooled me.
The list of rinos grows and grows.
ANYONE supporting McCain needs to go.
i heard there is a job opening working with killer whales down in florida.
Kyl/McCain:
Who you going to believe, your lying eyes, or me?
WHAT A FREAKIN’ SHAME!!! As many years as the guy has in Washington, he has to have his “Senate & House buddies” go out and campaign for him.
WELL, IT WON’T WORK, JOHNNY BOY.
Fred Thompson.
Tim Pawlenty.
Jon Kyl.
Good grief, is there not a prominent Republican out there who believes that fidelity to conservative principles trumps fidelity to John McCain?!
Stinking AZ RINOs - Juan McCain and Kyl. McCain has to be beaten.
These guys are just totally nuts.
How many conservatives are going to believe that Juan McCain is a conservative, because Kyl says so? On the other hand, how many will conclude that Kyl is a RINO who cannot be trusted, because he said so?
Idiocy like this does a lot more to undermine Kyl and the Republican Party than it does to prop up McCain.
Like Conservatives were going to turn out in great numbers for Dede Scozzafava because Newt the Great supported her? I think not. The only result was to discredit Newt with anyone still credulous enough to think he was a real conservative, and to make donations to the RNC tank even further.
Those in the country club stick together don’t they? McCain’s latest assault on freedom since McCain/Feingold is to take our supplements away. That’s not conservative and neither is Stain.
Don’t fret, Rab 358. After all, J.D. has picked up endorsements from David Duke and Shawna Forde!
“Sarah Palin.
Fred Thompson.
Tim Pawlenty.
Jon Kyl.
Good grief, is there not a prominent Republican out there who believes that fidelity to conservative principles trumps fidelity to John McCain?! “
They are all REPUBLICAN PARTY FIRST PEOPLE.
All 4 of them.
Party over principles every time.
Yep.
You’ve got to see McCain’s website and his stand (today) on immigration...if not full of so many lies, it would be laughable. Of course he says he’s not for ‘amnesty’.
Remember this is the guy who said, [I’ll build the g.Damned fence if that’s what you want!]
Good old John...trying to fool the public yet again.

Palin to Visit Arizona
When
March 26, 2010 March 27, 2010
Senator John McCain welcomes Sarah Palin to Arizona. Senator McCain and Sarah Palin will campaign around the state.
We keep seeing who is most dedicated to safe borders and conservatism, and who is willing to compromise it.
I just tossed off a fax and e-mail to Kyl letting him know he’s on thin ice supporting McCain. Kyl is getting a no vote from me if I can stomach the opposition. I’m tired of these RINO support groups.
