AND the insurance companies are piling on since banks HAVE to buy insurance and the insurance rates are so high for mandatory coverage that they are automatically rejected.

Isn’t this interfering with a private contract? The constitution prohibits states from interfering in contracts...and I don’t see anywhere that this power is granted to the federal gubment. Shouldn’t a constitutional scholar (I laugh when I say he’s a ‘scholar’) like Obama know better.
This guy makes decrees right out of “Atlas Shrugged” - at least we know he can read.

Great time to get that beach house I’ve wanted in Malibu and, what the heck, maybe a little ski chalet up in Vail. If I default, no biggie.
Unless some recent legislation has given a president this power I don't think he can do this.
