WASHINGTON -- A year ago, U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick was appointed to the House Intelligence Committee, a prestigious post she had long sought.

There, top-secret briefings unveiled truths about homegrown terrorism she had only suspected. And won't reveal.

"I can't tell you. I'm not being coy," Myrick said in an interview. "There's a threat out there to our security. ... It's worse than I thought."

Myrick, a Charlotte Republican and former mayor of the city, contends that extremists are working their way into U.S. Muslim communities, infiltrating government institutions and influencing American citizens to attack their own country. Her activism earns plaudits from some conservatives - but criticism from Muslim constituents who fear that her tone endangers a community 3 million strong and deeply imbedded in the nation's fabric. Tonight, months after pledging to do so, Myrick will meet with Charlotte's Muslim community.

It just strikes me as another indicator of the sad state of our country when one of the few members of Congress with a spine is a woman.

Men are genetically programmed to be aggressive leaders. Our society has figured out how to overcome that in many cases.

The justice dept has dropped charges against black panthers, has brought in a number of lawyers who defended these terrorist and who worked for far left groups which aide and abet these muslims.
We have the white house giving them civilian trails, miranda rights, postponing charges etc etc.

Good for her and I’m sure muslims now are trying to get into office, and other positions of power.

They are 3 million and multiplying ..... which is their stated goal for taking over the US. They are always complaining, always outraged over their “rights” as stated by the Constitution of a country in which they refuse to assimilate.

If I had my way anyone here who refuses to assimilate should be sent back...and that includes Muslims who hate that their kids become “too Westernized”.

Society of North America, and Council on American-Islamic Relations, three groups

stop all funding from overseas of religious buildings.
Here in my town we have an islamic center.

I’ve not seen a muslim in this town for years, infact even weh you go past there you only ever see one car sometimes and once I saw 5 cars and yet they have bought more land.

How, > where the hell did they get the money form to buy all that land when there is none in the town and no one goes there?

Then if muslims do not recognise this country and the laws they go back.
If muslims will not abide by the laws like getting a job as a cab driver and then saying they will not pick passengers up they go back, basically if they refuse to adapt to this country they go back.

Make a law that peoples faces should not be covered u0p for any reason and headwear in schools like the schools in my town are banned .

Mosques are to be looked at more closely and immigration form those countries should not be increased like it is under this buffoon

A study released last month by Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill researchers found 139 Muslim Americans involved in alleged or confirmed terrorism since 9/11. That compares with a national Muslim American population of more than 3million, said David Schanzer, lead author of the study and director of the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security.

"You have to look at the credibility of the individuals making those allegations, their motivations," Schanzer said, though he would not criticize Myrick individually.

IOW, Jihadists swim freely in their 3 million strong ocean of enablers.

Shanzer is a muslim apologist and CAIR water carrier.

I just can't get real concerned that the muslims are "wary", or upset, or offended...sorry.

With the attrocities on record that have been committed by muslims, I find it really hard to believe anything they say. If things here are "uncomfortable" for them, too bad. America shouldn't have to change over 200 years of American tradition to suit the muzzies. They can all pack up and go back to the middle east and wail their prayers until midnight.

Somestimes America is too accomodating; this is OUR house, and while vistors and new neighbors are welcome, they can't tell us how to act in our own home.

To drive that point home...just go over there and demand rights as a Christian...come morning you'll likely be missing parts from the neck, up. And they demand that WE be tolerant....
