The family of US activist Rachel Corrie, run over by an Israeli bulldozer during a demonstration in Gaza in 2003, will sue the Jewish state over her death, their lawyer said on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old killed at the height of the 2000 Palestinian intifada, or uprising, became an symbol of foreign support for the Palestinian cause and the subject of a 2005 play based on her emails and diary.
"The state should take responsibility for the death of Rachel Corrie. We believe her killing was done intentionally or at least out of negligence and wrongdoing," Hussein Abu Hussein, the family's lawyer, told AFP.
The family will be travelling to Israel for the trial, which will start March 10, Abu Hussein said
Activists who witnessed Corrie's death said she and others were acting as human shields to prevent a house demolition in the Gaza border town of Rafah for more than two hours and were clearly visible to the bulldozer driver.
"The whole time she was wearing a fluorescent jacket, as were her friends, and she had a megaphone," Abu Hussein said.

I must admit I’m not excited about this article. In fact, it leaves me feeling just a bit flat. ;-P

The bulldozer wouldn’t have been there save for Corrie and her “friends.”

"Activists who witnessed Corrie's death said she and others were acting as human shields"When you step in front of a bulldozer, expect to get squished!

We believe her killing was done intentionally or at least out of negligence and wrongdoing
So... you're not absolutely convicted that it was done intentionally, so you may shoot for negligence, hoping at best to get some attention and bad press for Israel because you're a biased media whore? Is that correct, Hussein Al Hussein?

Why should Israel be held responsible for an insane person who laid down in front of a bulldozer ?

Maybe the bulldozer operator should sue for her gumming up the tracks....

Countersuit?
The Court should also determine what fraction of
responsibility for the deaths of Israelis from terrorists
supported by the Corrie was due to Corrie’s parents,
including financial and brainwashing.

???
This may sound cruel but I wonder if any of those children give a rat's rear whether or not that loud mouthed American woman got squished. I'll bet none of those children were stupid enough to think their little tiny bodies could stop a bulldozer. I also doubt they think any better of us Americans. They undoubtedly think we are all just as stupid as ms corrie ya think?

Ignorant rich kid goes to whacko lib college (Evergreen State), gets involved with a bunch of Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-financed Anti-War Whackos (International Solidarity movement).
Lib Parents pay for the kid to go on an “Independent Study” to a WAR ZONE, and the kid gets mashed by a bulldozer because she was too dumb to get out of the way.
You’ll pardon me if I don’t shed too many crocodile tears over her. Darwin’s law applies...

Look at the hatred in that woman’s face. What a tool.
If she had not managed to get herself ran over by that dozer she’d have found another way soon.
The Palestinians must still be extremely pleased with it all.

Rachael was a sort of proto-Obama supporter. That crazy intensity was evident in 2008. Scary.
