The Democrats money-and-muscle operation is rebranding, not disbanding
ACORN is not dissolving. But some of its local affiliates, in an effort to suggest theyre cutting ties with the organization, are giving themselves new names. The reason is money: ACORN cites a string of vicious right-wing attacks that have made it hard for them to shake down their usual banker benefactors and nonprofit patrons.
ACORN isnt the first gang of riff-raff to discover that theres lots of money to be made at the intersection of politics and poverty that was part of the original mafias business model, too but you really have to dig into the organizations workings, its hundreds of bank accounts, its shell organizations and affiliates, its millions of dollars in cash and real estate, its bank stock, and its consulting company, to appreciate exactly how central money-making is to ACORN.
Two SEIU locals were directly run by ACORN: Local 100 and Local 880. Local 100, feeling the PR heat, decided to disaffiliate from SEIU and join the United Labor Unions instead. But Rep. Darrell Issas congressional report casts some doubt on how meaningful an action that was: Local 100s website still displays the SEIU logo . . . and [Local 100] is still listed on the SEIU website as an affiliate, even though it has not registered as a corporation with the State of Louisiana. In fact, according to the Louisiana Secretary of State, the United Labor Unions, the union that Local 100 supposedly returned to, had its charter revoked in 1998. . . . Based on tax records, it appears that Local 100 is still a member of SEIU and ACORN.

It is so unfair how vicious right-wing attacks have made it hard for them to support child prostitution and fraud. All I can say is thank God (thank Allah?) they have Obama to protect them from the consequences of a few dozen isolated incidents captured on film. Otherwise, we might lose the contribution that these community organizers make to keeping inner city communities the way they are.
I thank God for Glenn Beck. If it hadn’t been for him exposing this travesty in the first place, they’d have gotten away with everything. And I do mean everything. Go, Glenn Beck. We need to pray for his protection!!
later
Bunch of scumbag socialists like their leader Barry. They need indictments.
Tar and feathers. Won’t matter what they call themselves...
Darrell Issa will have all of their new business names, and the names of the new administrators before the ink is dry.
Now, I guess if the acorn types shake down a bank, the bank will have to report it, like they should have done in the last episode.
I still think T&F and riding them out of the country on a rail would work better.
Kind of like the Democrat/Progressive/Socialist/Collectivist/etc. Crime Syndicate.
HOORAY Glenn Beck, Andrew Breitbart, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles!
The new 2010 Congress will rip them apart! The new President in 2012 will tell the DOJ to go after “ACORN” and SEIU under RICO!
I’m all for it. I’ll supply the tar.
I have a couple of old feather pillows that we’ve been letting the dog sleep on...
At least your dog will know they went to a worthy cause ;-)
There was an excellent panel discussion at CPAC last week - "Saving Freedom from Vote Fraud" - which included Congressman Darrell Issa, John Fund of the Wall Street Journal (and author of numerous books about voter fraud) and the very brave Anita MonCrief, former ACORN employee.
Like a multi-headed Hydra, look for the name "ACORN" to quickly disappear and for the organization and its morally bankrupt employees to resurface under various "new" community groups across the country.
It didn't show up on my computer 'til just now for some reason...
And I should have mentioned in my post #17... former ACORN employee Anita MonCrief said that George Soros IS the funder-in-chief of ACORN. We all know ‘ol George is at the top of ACORN, but it’s nice to have it confirmed.
Change the name.....re-apply for funding.
