The GOP senate list is fine. Coburn is exceptional and won’t take any crap from BO or any RAT at the table. Coburn knows every intracacy of this debate and will pummel anyone who dares to take him on. In fact, if McConnell is smart, he’ll make Coburn the point man. Being a medical doctor will resonate with the American public - especially seniors.

The best thing that every freeper can do is call your reps and senators — all of them — 202-224-3121 and Raise Hell about Obamacare. I informed my two RAT senators offices today that if they even go near using reconciliation, I will vote straight Republican in 2010 and 2012 — from Governor to dogcatcher. They got the message.

I agree with mwl’s assessment. Normally, McCain would be to the left of Obama. But, in primary season - with a threat from his right - McC is certain to be to the right of Rush Limbaugh!

I tend to agree that is what he will do. McLame is running very conservative now for the primary. I don’t see him giving anything but trouble for the dems now. It would be political suicide for McLame to be bi-partisan and give HusseinCare any life.

I see your point; however, the a major point of this exercise is to get the GOPers to bite on the false premises contained in the medical confiscation act (system is broken, etc.) And, Mister McCain is an easy mark at accepting false premises.

Mister McCain's "moderation" will be featured in the NYT, MSNBC and all; and Mister McCain has always seemed willing if not eager to trade principle and dignity for the favorable leftist ink.
