Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) announced the members of the Senate Republican delegation to Thursday's White House health-care summit, and the list includes Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).
The Arizona Republican is not known as a health-care expert. But as the Republican presidential nominee in 2008, McCain offered a sweeping reform plan with some elements that overlap with the Obama proposal, and others that would have represented a radical departure from the current system.

Well, if it's "the Calvary," there may be a crucifixion....but whose?
I think snow is forecast, isn’t it? LOL.
He some bits on the RATS:

House Democrats HCR Summit List Includes Blue Dogs, Progressives
It is odd how quickly we are accepting the status quo here.
pardon me, I have to puke up my dinner.
When shown the list, Lindsey Graham stamped his foot and walked off sniffling...
Thanks.
Boehner is playing his cards very close to his vest.
Last I heard, he was still waiting for Rahm to reply to his letter.
LOLOLOL. Thankfully, Lindsey is *not* on the list. OMG.
IMHO, that is McCain's main problem.
My worry is he will continue with his constant pattern of "TAKING" quite a few and harming the rest of us again in the "process".....
I see your point; however, the a major point of this exercise is to get the GOPers to bite on the false premises contained in the medical confiscation act (system is broken, etc.) And, Mister McCain is an easy mark at accepting false premises.
Mister McCain's "moderation" will be featured in the NYT, MSNBC and all; and Mister McCain has always seemed willing if not eager to trade principle and dignity for the favorable leftist ink.
Ha! We do speculate a lot! Let’s just hope they speak strong enough who ever is in the forefront. They’re up against the BO boy thugs and they hardly play nice...but they sure like to color the paper like they do.
Agreed..... I am in the mindset that they all must go, cleaN the slate. Especially if we see these nimrods exit the meeting, backslapping each other, laughing and enthusiastically upbeat and jovial. This devious conference is a theatrical folly and an index finger stuck right in the eyes of the American people. KILL THE BILL!
He's not known as a 1st Amendment expert either but that never stopped him.
“Last I heard, he was still waiting for Rahm to reply to his letter.”
I am waiting for Godot.
I agree.
If Obama insists on trying to fix his proposal, the GOP must walk out en masse, or they are toast.
Thank you! McCain will pat -0’s back,
and announce to the room that they
have nothing to fear from -0 .... /S!
;)
And why are the docs not invited ???
“Of the doctors elected to Congress, 11 are Republicans and 5 are Democrats. Two serve in the Senate and 14 in the House, 7 of whom are on the three committees preparing a health care bill.”

These idiots just keep breathing the circulating
fumes of their own power bubble, absolutely NOT
plugged into reality!!
Watch McCain triumphantly announce a great Obamacare compromise that panders heavily to seniors in AZ.
Barrasso and Coburn will be there. They know this stuff inside out.
John McCain should be told to keep his mouth shut.
