California Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chairman Ryan Sorba generated a media controversy when he was shown at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) denouncing the organizers for inviting a homosexual Republican group, GOProud, into the event as an official sponsor. In "controversial" remarks, Sorba said homosexuality was unnatural and that he welcomed more debate and discussion about the subject from his political adversaries.
But what many people don't realize is that Sorba's "outburst" was provoked by a speaker who preceded him, Alexander McCobin of Students For Liberty (SFL).
McCobin went out of his way to use valuable time from the podium to thank the American Conservative Union, the main CPAC organizer, for making the controversial decision to approve GOProud's participation.
David Keene, a lobbyist, is the chairman of the ACU and personally approved GOProud's involvement in CPAC.
Sorba told AIM, "I think CPAC went overboard this year. I don't think he [Keene] should be sitting at the top of CPAC." He noted that CPAC over the last several years has also allowed groups such as the ACLU to have exhibits at the event.
"What's next?," Sorba asked. "Are they going to have Republicans for Obamacare? Republicans for free abortions?"
Incredibly, McCobin of SFL told me that his group "is not a conservative organization" and that "We spent this past weekend reaching out to the left and the right at both the Young Democrats of America's convention and the Conservative Political Action Conference. We are not left or right."
If they are not conservative, Sorba asked, "What are they doing at CPAC?"
No stranger to controversy, Sorba is the author of the book, The Born Gay Hoax (this is a working draft) and was shouted down at Smith College by lesbian activists because of his support for traditional values.

It’s my understanding that cases of homosexuals being refused visitation rights are few if any. It’s just a useful lie that supports the homosexual agenda.
I want homosexuals to get their mental sickness under control and not be told that they are normal when clearly they are not and it does not help the country or the conservative cause when we have fools and perverts trying to defend them in society or the media.
As for Govt well when I see the homosexuals using the Govt to push their agenda and dopes and perverts stand by them using the no Govt crap then yes I want as most of the country does to use the same tactic to stop them fight fire with fire so to speak

Maybe you like men marrying animals and women marrying their sons but most in the country does not and we want to stop perverts and sicko’s form forcing their ways onto us and into our schools and if that means using he same tactic as they do then so be it.

William F. Buckley defined it as conservative vs. Conservative. My view of current events and movements is that there are few that are truly conservative. It seems everyone wants to push their social agenda on everyone else, that includes people that call themselves conservatives.

I had to live up north and got to know a few homosexuals, not the radical type but homosexuals never the less.
I asked two of them that same question when one of their friends went into hospital .
The answer was no we have no problem and if we are in a union then we can easily see each other. It is just a tactic another lie to further their agenda and try to get more sympathy for their cause.

you believe that Govt has no say, I think it does when that same Govt or courts gets and has got involved telling me that they have special hate laws, they have marriage, adoption , teaching in schools, getting jobs like affirmative action , serving in the military and as I served then I am totally opposed to that.
I am fighting fire with fire and if they had just kept their life private like they said they wanted then I would nto even be bothered about what they do. However I am now seeing as they are trying to force their sick lifestyle onto me .
I’m still young and have a few years left in me and I will fight them every day and get the word out as much as I can until they understand I want their life private and not in my face or my life.
