Former Rep. J.D. Hayworth is putting to rest any notion that he is a "birther," a believer in the unsubstantiated theory that President Obama is not a natural born U.S. citizen and, therefore, not eligible to be president of the United States.

I have heard Savage repeatedly say at various times that McCain should have selected someone like Mitt over Sarah for VPI rarely ever listen to him but now I'll make that never.

Ignorant people are the ultimate weapon of mass destruction, and they will be the death of a once-great nation.
Even if re-elected, McCain may find out, like Ben Nelson, that if he’s gonna screw the people he’s gonna be eating pizza alone in his house for a while. lol.

"
I agree with you completely here. The Arizona Republic would have painted J.D. as a crazy birther and McCain would of ran with it" To JD's advantage if they dared, which I seriously doubt. They don't want that issue in the spotlight.

The article said, ""I believe that Barack Obama is an American citizen," Hayworth said. "
Parsing the politician double-speak, the question has never been "is obama an American Citizen?"; the question is "is obama a NATURAL BORN American Citizen?"
I'm sure he's a citizen, naturalized, or otherwise, but he has offered no proof that he is "natural born". The thrice-proven-phony birth certificate posted on the web only serves to cast more doubt, not less.
But if Hayworth is going to play with words to sidestep the tough questions, then I have no use for him...or mcCain't. It's a good thing I live in Georgia.

The only way that O could be a citizen is if he were naturalized, and he hasn’t been.

JD proves himself to be a coward, might as well congratulate Palin for the political wisdom to stay with the person that brought her to the dance. I was hoping for more from JD but he’s a loser like all the rest, nothing will change if he’s elected in 2010, might as well stay with McCain.

Thanks, Savage is doing just fine without your one endorsement.

JD Hayworth denies he is a birther...He did no such thing, he said bammie's a citizen, which he very well may be.
The issue is does he meet the NBC requirement, which clearly he does not.

But I can see why he wouldn’t push it—I’ve even recently read statements of his that are very skeptical about Obama’s origins-—you might know he’s ALREADY something of a longshot to beat McCain-—the same MSM and the same RINOs
who’ve always supporters would jump at the opportunity to
smear Hayworth as a ‘birther’, and would in fact never let up in suggesting that is either his ONLY issue (like Tancredo and Illegal Immigration) , OR that the wackiness of his “Birther beliefs” are enough to undermine everything else about him.
Besides, he’s running against McCain, not Obama.
No one seems sure enough about the level of proveability of Obama’s illegitimacy to want to pursue it and risk an ongoing or rekindled political career.
Hayworth is right to soft-pedal it, or get away from it altogether.

Are you also asking that same question of Juan McCain, Sarah Palin, and all other prominent politicians, or just JD Hayworth? Yes. Yes I am.
There wasn't a single Republican in Congress who had the guts to ask the question when it was their responsibility to do so: when the Electoral College votes were tabulated.

I agree with you completely Mike. That is what I am trying to say here. This was a set up. J.D. didn’t fall for it. The Republic won’t be able to clobber him with this thing.

The soft support is here on FR..but it won’t mean a thing here in AZ..believe me. To think that one now has to be a birther to have conservative credibility is ridiculous. It’s actually lazy. we have to beat Barrack on issues and politically. This can only hurt a politician who is running against John McCain. Some people here are just impossible to please...don’t worry.

You will soon discover there are many sects to the birther cult. The “natural born citizen birthers” think the “born in Kenya birthers” are crazy and from what I can tell most the birthers think the truthers are the real crazies. And the truthers are all voting for Debra Medina, who thinks the government is trying to control her thoughts with radio waves.
Hope that helps.
To: plinyelder
Hussein is president, we may not like it, but he is. GET OVER IT, and work to vote him out of office.
Some of the folks around here are going to be too busy arguing about who in the hell said what about his citizenship to work to get him defeated, and they’ll look like idiots in the process.
I have a better idea....
MAKE HIM INELIGIBLE FOR A SECOND TERM!
