Former Rep. J.D. Hayworth is putting to rest any notion that he is a "birther," a believer in the unsubstantiated theory that President Obama is not a natural born U.S. citizen and, therefore, not eligible to be president of the United States.

Well, JD is keeping the issue in the news. That’s a good thing.
You might want to see the soft support for JD Hayworth, now that he’s said that Obama is an American citizen.
Are some of is becoming one issue supporters/voters?
Good grief.
It’s no lie.....I have heard Savage repeatedly say at various times that McCain should have selected someone like Mitt over Sarah for VP when he mentions her because of the experience factor and late last year when a substitute for Savage on his radio show announced that Savage was having dinner with a MAJOR BIG TIME POTENTIAL GOP CANDIDATE in CA, the only one that was in CA at that time for a fundraiser was Mitt... I believe Sarah was in TX dealing with the Alaska Pipeline deal and Savage wouldn’t have never met her anyway, and Huck was somewhere else in the U.S according to sources
“Once you have the answers it is also your job to TELL US Please dont wait until you have all of the answers, I for one would love to get a progress report.”
Yeah, you’re right...with my talk show and deep connections, I’ll get right on it...JD has none of these at his disposal.
Good for JD, just proving he’s just another politician. Palin was right afterall. Go McCAIN!
No disparagement. Just an answer that implies, “let’s move on to the next question.”
I had a thought about that. Wouldn't zer0 be able to get around a law like that by saying he is already POTUS and has already qualified so it doesn't apply to him?
We all know the LSM would be right behind him but his refusal would certainly raise some doubts.
Keeping it in the news while painting himself as a stupid dupe.
Are you also asking that same question of Juan McCain, Sarah Palin, and all other prominent politicians, or just JD Hayworth?
You should post a barf alert be for you do that!
Yep! Savage was for McCain/Palin, no wonder they lost (sarc)
But what does any special responsibility fall on JD Hayworth. Tell it to McCain and Sarah Palin and others, also.
I suppose.
I’m still waiting for one politician to have the guts to stand up and say the emperor is naked, without a second thought about how the media will butcher him.
That’s why Joe Wilson was such a hero. He said what we all knew, without first measuring, calculating, diluting, and then mumbling what the media expects everybody to say.
Not a responsibility, but he threw away a huge advantage.
ping...
JD Hayworth denies he is a birther...
I’ll guarantee to you that if he comes out and says he’s a birther tomorrow, he’ll be doing jingles for a local Phoenix pizza joint on TV by tomorrow night. McCain and his pals at the state commie rag, The Arizona People’s Republic, would have is @$$ on a platter. That’s a fact. J.D. is just doing what he has to do.
I agree with you completely here. The Arizona Republic would have painted J.D. as a crazy birther and McCain would of ran with it. This takes away an attack from McCain and allows J.D. to focus on what he can do for Arizona since McCain has proven he doesn't care about Arizona nor the republican party.
He’s also said he was born at 2 different hospitals. I literally don’t believe a word that Obama says or reads.
Right. I guess it’s just that I’m looking for somebody who realizes that they not only battle their opponent but a crooked media and law enforcement system as well. I’m looking for somebody who is up for the fight.
I thought Fred Thompson was the only presidential candidate who really “got it”. Palin understands also, I think, but she can’t go this far yet either.
That's strictly a matter or opinion, or speculation. I doubt many in Arizona will decide their Republican Senate vote on the birther question. And you know McCain would never even pretend to question Obama's birth. So how and why should this be an issue in this campaign? Are birthers now going to vote for McCain???
