Wow. Just as soon as the "Hot Air" blog was purchased by the Christian conglomerate Salem Communications from conservative commentator Michelle Malkin, it has suddenly become an advocate for all things gay. What in the world is up with that?
For background, GOPROUD is an organization dedicated to advancing special rights for homosexual behavior, and advocates the overthrow of the Defense of Marriage Act and the overthrow of the law banning homosexual service in the military.
Not only was GOPROUD welcomed at CPAC, an event which is supposed to be the annual showcase for conservative values, the organization was allowed to sponsor the event, giving visibility and recognition to its effort to legitimize sexual deviancy.

It wasn’t so long ago that people like this were locked up. But I guess we can’t do that anymore.
Considering that (despite much bruhaha to the contrary) no such law exists, it does make me question the veracity of the entire article.
Ahem..
I knew a stupid post like that would be quick to follow.
You are aware that not all gays propose such things, and the ones that do are generally leftists who we already oppose (I assume we oppose “afrocentric” history as the lie that it is, also—doesn’t mean we must embrace anti-black perspectives.)
That’s a false choice you present. One can support ANY person who acts within reason to assert their humanity and right to live free in society without supporting destructive or corrosive notions of what’s appropriate for children’s instruction.
But you knew that...
Mmm ... not me. So stop your proselyting. Thank you.
HOTAIR: Michelle Malkin was HOT. If she is gone, all that is left is the AIR.
Why worry about facts when you can focus on paranoia and hysteria about homosexuals wanting crazy things like ‘rights?’
Oh no, someone’s gone “soft on the gays!” We have to stiffen our resolve and meet this evil threat head on! Penetrating their defenses again and again.
I swear, the posts that often accompany gay issues that focus on the sexual practices of homosexuals I find interesting because they seem far too fascinated with the subject than people who don’t engage in it should.
Just look at the Olympics, men’s figure skating. My middle daughter, Iraqi vet, won’t even watch TV anymore, it’s gay TV all the time. I agree, we watch reruns of Andy Griffith, and that genre.
Part of the post is agreement with you. The rest is directed “out there,” I thought that would be clear from the post.
CPAC has defined conservativism as being merely anti-Obama. Almost all the speakers were trashing Obama and not mentioning social issues. Disappointing. The best speech was from Mike Pence. He had the courage to say NO to Planned Parenthood funding and NO to gay marriage at CPAC.
Geron, So when they're beating all the gays bloody in the back alley for being gay, you'll be fine with it?
See? That's how your idiotic, melodramatic, passive-aggressive, illogical hyperbole sounds.
Not all gay people are out to spread a radical agenda to children. Get. Over. Yourself.
Yes, that would be humane and morally justified. Lock up everyone who is homosexual.
So much for that Christ-like love...
As will I. And good for you.
Okay, understood.
The “you religious people” thing seemed directed at me. Forgive me if I misunderstood.
Thanks for the support.
If it’s not gay threads or threads about Haiti, I can stomach FR but there are a lot of hateful, vile people who claim to be conservatives and religious who don’t practice Christian love, don’t ACTUALLY believe in individual rights and frankly are fairly ignorant individuals who assert their malicious ignorance as if we on the right should be proud of such things.
I don’t see anyone trying to pass laws to legalize beating gays. So the comparison is off base.
No, what part of queer DON’T you understand?
Sorry, I tend to do that. Introduce a post with a direct acknowledgment of something said then move on to a generally-directed thought. My apologies for not dividing that more clearly! :)
Yes indeed.
They are already doing this in some places, so it is fair to criticize it. Tell me all of the gay groups ho have come out against this?
