Newly-seated Republican Sen. Scott Brown (Mass.) on Monday joined Democrats in voting to end debate on their $15 billion jobs bill.

Brown crossed the aisle after Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) nixed an $85 billion, bipartisan plan in favor of a more narrowly-focused bill.

So much for falling on a grenade for the greater good.

Perhaps the grenade will dislodge your head from your ass.

I'd happily pay $15 billion ransom for the babies saved by killing ObamaCare. Don't tell anyone, but I'd happily pay even more than that.

If Coakley were Senator, this would have been an $85 billion bill.

This shouldn’t surprise anyone...he told us all that he was a “Scott Brown Republican,” and would be independent. He’s a McCain type. But, he’s not Ted Kennedy, and his election did put the nail in the coffin of legislation that would have eventually given us a nightmare socialized medical system.

I supported his election to kill ObamaCare.

If ObamaCare somehow passes anyway, the country is a write-off so it won’t matter who gets the blame.

Thankfully, those pesky Scott Brown threads will ALWAYS be with us. Still, this was a testament to irrational exuberance and what can happen when political expediency trumps principled conservatism.

Someone should tell these RINOS that they don’t need to sellout to the Democrats since the Democratic party is going into the dustbin of history. Why sellout to a ideology that has brought the country to bankruptcy? That is the heritage of Franklin Roosevelt - a bankrupt America!

The Democrats have no superior ideas and no superior morality. They are idealogically and morally bankrupt. Their time has come and gone. What is happening today is just the inevitable result of 70 years of FDR big spending and big government. The great American middle class is finally realizing this. All those independents are realizing that the Democrats are nothing but thieves. The suburbs are waking up and they are realizing that they are at their core conservative.

WAKE UP RINOS — THE DEMOCRATS ARE GOING DOWN AND YOU ARE GOING DOWN WITH THEM IF YOU DON’T WAKE UP!!

Here's an ironic thread:

Poll shows Scott Brown could top Obama in prez run

And another:

Scott Brown for President (Vanity)

Then there's this one:

Palin/Brown in 2012?

This title might be the most ironic:

Brown for President in 2012? No Joke, Supporters Say

Looks like McCain has taken Brown under his wing and shown him the ways of the foot-kissing RINO. What is Brown going to do when McCain is thrown out on his arse this November?

And it is obvious that the person that would meet my standards would never get elected.

Coakley portrayed Scott Brown as a pro-life conservative.

The media portrayed Scott Brown as a pro-life conservative.

Scott Brown's supporters portrayed him as a pro-life conservative.

And despite all of this, Scott Brown won by over five points.

What that tells me is that a genuine pro-life conservative could have won and all of this "he's the best we could get in Massachusetts" rhetoric is a load of crap.

Its official. You’re the keeper of the Brown anti-conservative legacy threads on FR. ;^)

From Schwarzy, to Rudy, to Romney, to Brown... they’ll never learn.

Hopefully, that will put an end to the idiots talking about him running for president before he had even gotten to Washington:

I’ve been saying that since Brown won. Mostly I’ve been hearing his apologists talk about how great he looks in a swimsuit (or less).
