Newly-seated Republican Sen. Scott Brown (Mass.) on Monday joined Democrats in voting to end debate on their $15 billion jobs bill.

Brown crossed the aisle after Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) nixed an $85 billion, bipartisan plan in favor of a more narrowly-focused bill.

Is this the same Scott Brown you (AND the Tea Party Express)were encouraging us to support/endorse?

“LET’S SEND SCOTT BROWN TO THE US SENATE!

The “Tea Party Express” has announced their endorsement of Republican Scott Brown for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts. This will be a critical race, a Special Election that takes place on January 19th, and one that could stop the Democrats from passing through their government-run healthcare monstrosity. This Special Election will fill the seat of the late Senator Ted Kennedy.

Republican Scott Brown opposes the government-run healthcare plan now being debated by Congress. He launched his campaign on the platform of lower taxes and reduced government spending. I happen to have personal friends who have known Scott Brown for years, and say Scott is an honest guy who is a real conservative! He says what he means and means what he says!

We need to act fast to help Scott Brown. This is an important election - and will is an uphill battle for Scott to prevail given the leftward slant of Massachusetts, politically. Especially since he is getting next to NO HELP from the GOP! Go figure! Maybe Scott Brown is just too conservative??

If we can pull out a victory we stop the Democrats dead in their tracks in their effort to secretly ram through their socialistic healthcare plan.

If you have already donated to Scott Brown, you know your help was appreciated! To those who can’t help, I certainly understand. Perhaps you can help by spreading the word about Scott to your friends and family. If you can help, please contribute any amount you can afford and please remember that every little bit helps! Even $5 or $10.
Thanks! Jean St. Pete, FL”

Last fall nobody outside of Massachusetts had even heard of him, every vote he ever cast was liberal, but by New Year’s we were being told that he was the next Reagan and that his version of being “personally opposed to abortion was different and that Romneycare was nothing like Obamacare.

This is why I always say never trust anyone from Massachusetts. Something in the water there messes up your mind for life.

Amen to that!

Just look at the clowns these folks elect (and re-elect, and re-elect...):

Bawney Fwank
Teddy
John F. Kerry
...and of course, the king of the flip-floppers, ole Mitt.

I suppose a true conservative could NEVER be elected to any office of any importance in Taxachusetts. So we get Scott Brown.

Just. Great.

We got sucked in and set up, does any good thing come out of Massachusetts???

I hope some folks let Brown know how we feel.

He doesn’t have an email yet.

Tax credits are not the big ticket for most businesses. Removing barriers such as OSHA, EPA, DOL and making the business of doing business easier is the real solution. In our business ventures we simply want lower taxes. Tax credits have too many strings to mess with.

This is why I’d trust a two dollar whore before trusting any politician. At least with the whore, you know what you’re getting.

Politicians are lower than whale sh*t with their lack of morals and BS. Doesn’t matter what comes after the name, they are all not worthy of trust or support.

The Republicans and Democrats... The right and left cheeks of the same stinking @ss.

After reading all the posts here, I have a question.

What FReepers actually though Scott Brown was the second coming of Ronald Reagan?

He was very clear in his position that he would vote for what he felt was good for MA. He has never portrayed himself as a down the line Conservative, but he was 1000% better than the Rat he was running against.

Flame away, but remember this guy won a Senate seat in the Bluest of Blue States and as hard as it is to believe, his vote here will help his chances for reelection in 2012.

Lets be honest.

A year from now, we'll be hard pressed to find many, if ANY, FReepers willing to admit they ever supported or defended Scott Brown.

The hypocrisy is already building.

No he’s not. He chastised Scott Brown for not being supportive of gay marriage.

Unless they can figure out a way to eliminate all of the Scott Brown threads prior to today it won’t be that tough. It was pretty much the same crowd that was pushing Rudy a few years back.

You guys should have known when he recently disclaimed any Tea Party involvement in his election. He said they weren’t responsible for helping him get elected. He is just another arrogant liberal who uses the Republican brand.

Yup if we, because of desperation don’t stick with our convictions, we lose anyway.

I hate to say it, but we are near the end of the age, sorry guys but the signs are everywhere,

I don’t think any politician meets righteous standards, we live in an morally bankrupt world,

He posed nude for criminy sakes.

I can’t think of a soul I would vote for, perhaps that is the test,
