Newly-seated Republican Sen. Scott Brown (Mass.) on Monday joined Democrats in voting to end debate on their $15 billion jobs bill.
Brown crossed the aisle after Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) nixed an $85 billion, bipartisan plan in favor of a more narrowly-focused bill.

True. And because I didn’t think he would act like a conservative non of this surprises me.
I hate everyone in DC, both parties. The past year and a half has turned me into someone that despises them all. Sometimes I think it would be easier to just move to a small island and enjoy life. sigh
I am in 100% agreement! Let me know when you find that island...
Scott Brown, the brighest new Republican hope since Arnold Schwarznegger, hehe.
The so-called “41st vote” was always mythical. I tried to tell ‘em...
no not just him, collins, bond, the usual crowd joined him ... Lindsey must have been vacationing today.
Interesting observation...we all knew that Scott Brown was not going to be Ronald Reagan...
This is also the main reason I don't trust Romney.
Slicing a couple of these Senate Republicans off for a liberal bill is about as hard for the Democrats as slicing butter with a hot knife.
I knew it was just a matter of time, but I never actually thought he would show his true colors on the very first vote that really mattered.
Awww, it’s only $15 billion more shelled out to Democrat constituencies. Chicken feed!

Is anyone the LEAST BIT surprised?
The independents voted him into office. He’s gonna be another Snow!
Well, I did find one. We have a vacation home in a lovely country but it too has it’s drawbacks. It isn’t consumed by hate and politics like here, but my wife thinks there are too many spiders, she doesn’t like having to get dressed up just to go downtown, several other reasons she doesn’t want to move there full time, although I would go in a minute.
So she fell in love with a home which is much closer to home. Of course the medical care isn’t worth a damn, but it is fast airlift to Miami if needed. So we are in the contemplating stage now as to what to do. We are both just over the BS 24/7 here. It would be nice to not see political fighting on the news all day and all night. Not have to see that Marxist narcissist running his effing mouth 24/7 and even nicer to know that my tax dollars aren’t going to help his agenda cause I’m telling you, I am not paying a cent toward that health care crap. I don’t care if it’s on my IRS tax forms or not. I will cross it out and write FU on it. I mean it. I have health care, I pay dearly for it. I am not paying for theirs. FUBO you stinky bastard.
I was talking about the people who want him to run for President. I said nothing about the Senate run in this thread.
That’s pretty much what I’ve been reading on this thread from the people who were talking about how “presidential” he was just the other day.
Half are saying they are so “disappointed” and how they need to make sure everyone on Facebook knows they are mad.
The other half are saying that it’s ONLY $15 billion, or maybe it’s $60 billion, but who cares, it’s just money.
But guess what, Brown only promised to vote against the OLD version of Obamacare, he hasn’t seen the new one.
He fits in well with the moochers and looters in DC.
Watch him on the heathcare bill.. Brown will be “convinced” that there is an improved bill and would vote yes.
As I said above...we will have no choice but to hang them all in the end.....
Right. The day after the election he was already reading from the Romney talking points about how they can do socialism better than the Democrats.
A "conservative" that is pro-abortion is always highly suspect in my book. And lo and behold, Scott Brown turns out to be highly suspect.
We got ourselves another RINO, folks...
Bothers me that so many people are suggesting that a good fiscal Conservative, is just what the Dr ordered for this time in our history.
Having said that, I still found myself rooting for the guy over Kennedy.
