Newly-seated Republican Sen. Scott Brown (Mass.) on Monday joined Democrats in voting to end debate on their $15 billion jobs bill.

Brown crossed the aisle after Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) nixed an $85 billion, bipartisan plan in favor of a more narrowly-focused bill.

Since we know he intends to occasionally cross he aisle, I’d rather he cross the aisle on this innocuous jobs bill than on the big stuff like healthcare and cap and trade. In my court, the jury is still out...

But no one should trash Republicans. Or so they say here on FR on all of the Glenn Beck trashing threads.

I posted a comment of disappointment a few minutes ago. There are a lot of upset people. My comment was rather tame.

He’s a publicity hound. The only time he’ll oppose the RATs is when he’s racing Screwmer to get in front of a camera.

Can we all stop calling this the “Jobs Bill” and refer to it as “Porkulus II”

Why in hell do people on FR throw a fit every time an Independent turns out not to be a hardcore conservative in everything they say and do?

Good question.

Was it not but a few weeks ago that conservatives were making such preposterous statements as Brown for President 2012 (Republican that is).

Just a reminder that conservatives cannot trust anyone from Massachusetts.

And that includes Romney.

Conservative progress?

This looks like RINO stuff...

Be careful Conservative radio hosts-I’ve heard praises sung for ol Brown by Rush, etc...
thanfully Beck didn’t mention him by name Saturday about the conservative revitalization... Would look silly today...

Well the votes are in and Scott Brown doesn’t mind spending other peoples money. Even when it’s coming from his kids and grandkids in the form of debt that may never be paid back.

What an effing loser this Scott Brown is.

The final vote was 62 to 30...I’m not agreeing with his vote, but it wouldn’t have made any difference if he had voted no on cloture.

His Facebook comment was:

““I came to Washington to be an independent voice, to put politics aside, and to do everything in my power to help create jobs for Massachusetts families. This Senate jobs bill is not perfect. I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I am voting for it because it contains measures that will help put people back ...to work. ... I hope for improvements in that process going forward.”

Whatever!

Why in hell do people on FR throw a fit every time an Independent turns out not to be a hardcore conservative in everything they say and do?

IMHO...because there are a number of folks on FR that can't grasp the idea that not everyone thinks like they do. In addition, having entirely too much time on their hands they are void of processing information in an orderly manner that will produce a result that makes 100% sense to them. As a result they reject that premise. The long and short of it: They aren't very bright!
