I don’t think there is any question there needs to be a massive march on Washington. I have been talking about this to other people for some time now. We are running out of time. Let’s Roll!

Arrogant putz thinks all he has to do is say take it or leave it and everyone will jump at his command.

I say leave it. Certainly we need some sort of health care bill, but pray tell me how he can roll back an insurance companes prices.

He now owns General Motors, is he rolling back car prices? rolling back Union demands?

Nothing Obama is writing changes the text of the legislation currently on the table. Any changes must be by amendment only, and voted on by legislators.

There is nothing to actually reform 2200 pages of tyranny.
The ProgRats will lie, knowing they have so many unconstitutional provisions embedded in the health control bill.
IF ANY CHANGES ARE NOT IN WRITING IN THE ACTUAL LEGISLATION, NOTHING IS GOING TO BE CHANGED.
KEEP UP THE PRESSURE ON THE NO VOTES.

Did Gibbs say that this is the base to work from, it can be added to? I only heard the newscaster re-state what he said. It sounds like Obama will not compromise on this bill but will consider ADDING some Republican provisions.

“...that would allow the government to deny or roll back egregious insurance premium increases that infuriate consumers.”

Oh, you mean like the increases caused by the Washington State Legislature in the early 90s due to their idiotic “mandates”? The one that chased 14 insurance companies out of our state followed by an increase in premium costs by 40%?

We don’t need health care reform.

Our Health Care is the BEST in the world.

We need health INSURANCE reform. Allow health insurance to be sold across State lines.

We need TORT reform. It’s ridiculous for someone to be awarded a judgment so outrageously high that they’ll never see the money, the doctor will file bankruptcy and the insurance company will go out of business. If an insurance policy would pay you X-dollars for the loss of a limb or digit or eye, then a jury should have a limit on the total amount you can be awarded for the same loss.

DEATH awards need to be rational as well, based on insurance tables.

The DEMOCRATS in the Senate don’t want TORT reform . . . they’re ALL Lawyers. Dunno the percentage of Democrat lawyers in the House, but I’m sure it’s substantial.
