Seems like Boehner has come back swinging. Calling the summit a "democrat infomercial" is great!

Thanks for posting.

Sweep ALL out or let them ALL resign and go back to their families. They only understand power. It’s time to flex OUR muscle. The soap box doesn’t work. They control all of the amplification devices. It’s time for the ballot box. It’s peaceful. It’s powerful.

Agree. Boycott the damn thing.

The electorate has the GOP's back on this one. Their brief is to bury this thing, once and for all.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

President Obama has met and will meet with our country’s biggest enemies without preconditions, but he won’t meet with it’s own elected representatives without them. What does that tell you about him?

That’s what I was going to say, in fewer words.

Well stated. The good-statist/bad-statist routine is getting old. We need a fresh start.

I didn’t see anywhere in Boehner’s statement that the OP(formerly the GOP) won’t go.

Then drop their own plan

I am going to write a book on healthcare. It will be 2000 pages long and you have two hours to read it.

This is going to be Propaganda Fest 2010, with the media participating in this charade.

Republicans need some serious testicles for this Alinsky Marathon.

“This week’s summit clearly has all the makings of a Democratic infomercial for continuing on a partisan course that relies on more backroom deals and parliamentary tricks to circumvent the will of the American people and jam through a massive government takeover of health care.

In a nutshell. . .I hope they can/will shut these Dems down and out. WE all must.

I suggest Boehner make the demand that they refer to the Republican plan (which should still be online) and demand that it be used as a starting point instead. It would be no different than what the Dems are doing here.

The only bi-partisan approach on this is to CTRL-ALT-DEL everything the Dems worked out behind closed doors. Crapcan all the payoffs, all the socialism, etc. Start over from scratch.

Great opening counter-attack John Boehner! So tell 0bozo that unless he & the demoRATs are willing to start over with a blank sheet of paper & to incorporate the Repubs incremental approach, starting with Tort reform & the ability to purchase medical insurance across state lines, that HELL NO, WE WON’T GO TO YOUR INFOMERCIAL!

I agree; the Republicans should insist on the precondition that their plan be the starting point of discussions. If not accepted, don’t go. It’s not a meaningful invite.

Better yet, just don’t go. The American public has had it with the healthcare infomercials.

A strong statement which is a good start. Now boycott the dog-and-pony show that is being called a summit.

He's not afraid of them?

They are on the same race track, but going different speeds?

They are actually on the same team? But just switch off playing defense, and offense?

They are a bigger enemy?

He hates them?

Heck if I know?
