McCain has been given about 27 years to fix things in Washington, D.C. Now it’s time for him to stand for re-election, and the best the guy can do is state he was mislead on an issue.
Just how many decades does it take before you think you might finally be up to speed John?
It’s time for some new blood. Retire this crusty old leftist and let’s move on.

His support of the bailout cost him the election, he is a moron.

Like he was misled on amnesty for illegals and campaign finance muzzling nonprofits like the NRA. Yup. Sure. Thus speaketh the voice of desperation from the King RINO. The only thing he ever did besides HONORABLY serve his country and be a POW was to give Sarah Palin her shot. I'll give him 10000% full credit for his military service.

Yep, McCain is a dim bulb. He does not do well explaining his positions, which makes it necessary to go on the attack and stick to Democrat-lite talking points. However, Republicans and much of the “conservative” media give him a pass time and time again.

McCain voted against the so-called Stimulus bill. Did you mean TARP?

Ever heard of “read the bill”.
The Maverick for change.......yeah, right.

I was at a charity dinner on Saturday. McCain was there a spoke. I wanted to heckle. If they had auctioned off 10 minutes alone with him to tell him what I think, I believe I would have bid.

Interpretation - He voted for it without reading it.

"John McCain is an honorable man" This is sounding more and more like "damning with faint praise".

McCain voted against the so-called Stimulus bill. That may be true, but at the same time, he was pushing his own stimulus "lite" bill.

Hey, McCain, you should have realized something was a little bit wrong when Harry and Nancy took over this meeting in the White House, shoved Bush to the curb, and put Obama in charge.
Or why do you suppose Hank Paulson was in constant communication with Obama, but refused to return your phone calls.
Your reaction, predictably, was to reach across the aisle a little harder, even as they were bitch-slapping you. You got what you asked for.

I’m not at all a fan of McCain, but I won’t crush him for a vote he never made. Just correcting some false info in this thread. ;)

No Johnny - YOU misled the voters in AZ for too long. YOU do the misleading and now you have an opponent who will show you the door!
To: b4its2late
Interpretation - He voted for it without reading it. McCain suspended his presidential campaign to focus on this one problem - and yet he claims to have been deceived.
Hayworth better use this to whomp "Simple John" like a rented mule.
