won’t be enough wake-up to do that.

They eat their own and think it’s all part of the game on the road to global tyranny.

Well, since you may very well be right I'll just kinda hope it's what I said but I won't hope very hard...

If the Repubs take back Congress then this should be investigated to the hilt and if there is anything there the word impeachment should be raised.

Yep. This is one of the most ignored statutes on the books. Right after bribery.

Happens at federal, state and local level in every election. Routinely practiced by Rs and Ds.

I wonder if Obama is going to one day wind up like all those Illinois governors that got sent (or will soon be) to prison?

I have been thinking about a Citizens Court.

since it is obvious that the Justice Department will NOT enforce Laws. A the sheer audacity of open violations of the USC, maybe a Citizens Court would not be such an outragous suggestion.
also intereting the Fouders had the SAME problems we are facing today.

“He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.”

“Whoever solicits or receives … any….thing of value, in consideration of the promise of support or use of influence in obtaining for any person any appointive office or place under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.” — 18 USC Sec. 211 — Bribery, Graft and Conflicts of Interest: Acceptance or solicitation to obtain appointive public office

“In the face of a White House denial, U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak stuck to his story yesterday that the Obama administration offered him a “high-ranking” government post if he would not run against U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania’s Democratic primary.”

I thought the same as you but I don’t know about that. Apparently the administration was soliciting a promise not to run against Specter, can a promise not to run be considered a “thing of value”.

On the other hand it appears to be a clear case of attempted bribery, if it is illegal to accept a bribe, can it be legal to offer one?

Well worth clicking on the link to the full article from The American Spectator. This could potentially be a bombshell waiting to go off. It really depends on how well the mainstream media can bury it and provide cover.

We should know by the end of the week IF it's going to break into the the public consciousness. Usually, the way it works, (if it's going to work), follows this template: From the original source (American Thinker), to talk radio (I'm listening to Rush and he hasn't mentioned it...yet), to Fox News. A story negative to liberal interests, such as the hidden Acorn video was, usually has to get extended airplay on Fox for several days before network news feels compelled to report it.

I'm not hopeful that this story will break through the bubble. It would be outrageous for it not to, because as John F. Kennedy once said: "It is a federal offense to offer any man a federal job in return for a favor." And so it is.

Good luck in getting this to stick to Obama.
Only guy who can make all his records disappear by executive order. Change the meaning of the constitution ..no problem.
Fund ACORN to mess with votes, sure thing. Allow black panthers to terrorize voters, not a problem.

Oh .. I so hope his day comes when he finds himself stripped of his power, dignity and he has to pay for what he has done.
