Who will give affirmative action to the tax slaves who have been held in bondage since the Great Society? Slavery still lives.
Will all those on welfare pay us back? When do we get our restitution? I want justice, too. If you cut the tax slaves, do they not also bleed? Where's our equality?
My wife is very smart and nice (and conservative) and doesn’t get too worked up over politics of any kind.
But you mention reparations to her and she does a slow burn that begins to melt a hole in the space-time continuum.
It just ain’t fair to punish the great-grandchildren of the slave holders, much less people such as my wife (her grandparents came here from Ireland) or myself (my people came here after the civil war and went straight to Nebraska to farm and stayed there not bothering anybody until my dad left home.)
We have NONE of this crap in our families’ history, and those who do have not owned a single slave since the Civil War so they are not guilty.
What really bothers me this moment is that this seems to be a unilateral decision from the POTUS. Can he even do this? How can he spend money without a bill from the House?
