Usually in the broadcast business the eleventh commandment is to speak no evil about your comrades. Michael Savage has broken the rule and is routinely snubbed by many of the bigger talkers from Mark to Rush to Hannity.

I don't see Glen Beck as another Savage, IMHO.

Is he a bit disorganized from time to time,yes of course.

However,does he have all the qualities that make for a good show from a stellar voice,to a brilliant sense of humor,to an in-depth use of the medium?Yes.

In addition he has a genuinely incredible delivery of many topics that is so good he does bring some in the audience and himself to tears from time to time.

Is that a no no in broadcasting, hardly. It just shows the depth of his convictions and in Beck's case the depth of research he has done.

All in all I see no reason for the circular firing squad or the petty squabbling about Beck. Most of us that watched that speech were deeply effected by it.It was from the heart,with just the barest of notes and you could tell that he had done tons of research.

There were so many great points brought out that we will be quoting from it for a long time. Would I rather that he blasted zero more and did tell the difference between dems and us? Of course.

But is he entitled to his own delivery and his own brand of logic,obviously yes. Other wise people would be turning the dial in droves and yet just the opposite is happening.

Can we give Glen Beck a break please!
