***************************EXCERPT*********************************

Note: To date, the concept of man-made CO2 emissions causing global warming remains theory only. There exists no empirical evidence to support the theory.

And this is why we now can only purchase more expensive, less EFFICIENT and more trouble-prone A/C units!!

Looks like Algore should have some older co-defendants at his FRAUD trial.

I look at the whole CFC fiasco this way. If they were going to have any chance at all of convincing us that the planet was getting hotter, they knew they’d have to take away our air conditioning and refrigerators.

If the CFC ban is the pilot episode of AGW, then the DDT ban is the play... first Off-broadway, now on Broadway in about its 70th year, killing more kids due to malaria each and every year.

Ernest........this seems a good thread to pose a question. When I was a kid, CO2 was GOOD for us because trees and plants thrive on it and in return, give us the oxygen WE thrive on.

When did that change? Are they maybe getting dumb people to confuse carbon DIoxide with carbon MONoxide?

The question sounds simplistic, but I still can’t find the answer.

It’s one thing to gripe and complain about these things and disagree with it, but it’s quite another to convince your friends and neighbors and relatives and coworkers...

THEREFORE..., it’s also absolutely necessary for people to know the information in the following documentary. If there were simply one video that you could see and/or show people you know... this would be the one...

The following is an excellent video documentary on the so-called “Global Warming” I would recommend it to all FReepers. It’s a very well-made documentary.

“The Great Global Warming Swindle”

If you want to download it, via a BitTorrent site (using a BitTorrent client), you can get it at the following link. Information about BitTorrent protocol and BitTorrent clients and their comparison at these three links (in this sentence). Some additional BitTorrent information here and here.

Download it here...
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3635222/The_Great_Global_Warming_Swindle
[This is a high-quality copy, of about a gigabyte in size. This link is the information about it, and you have to click the download link to get it on your BitTorrent client software. You'll also find users' comments here, too.]

It’s worth seeing and having for relatives, friends, neighbors and coworkers to see.

Also, see it online here...
http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/great_global_warming_swindle.php
[this one is considerably lower quality, is a flash video and viewable online, of course..., and also, you can download flash video on a website either yourself or some software doing it.]

Buy it on DVD here...
[this would be the very highest quality version, on a DVD disk, of several gigabytes in size...] At Amazon, it seems to be high-priced now and have only a few copies right now.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WLUXZE

At WAGtv (a UK shop), but don't know about shipping. The price is reasonable, though.

[And..., some information from WAGtv about this item.]

Please read Bidding Adieu to R-22. The entire refrigerant phase-out was a scam based on junk science and unproven hypotheses. The refrigerant phase-out is the model for the greenies to use against carbon and energy.

In his book Ozone Diplomacy, Richard Benedick, the chief U.S. negotiator for the Montreal Protocol wrote, “Perhaps the most extraordinary aspect of the treaty was its imposition of short-term economic costs to protect human health and the environment against unproved future dangers — dangers that rested on scientific theories, rather than on firm data. At the time of the negotiations and signing, no measurable evidence of damage existed.”

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace
alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by
menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of
them imaginary.

The enviro’s CFC thing was also heavily financed by Dupont Chemical Co. as their patent on “Freon” had just expired allowing other companies to make the generic version.

The other think interesting about CFCs is that in the first IPCC assessment report on warming, AR1, published in 1990, half the anthropogenic greenhouse effect was attributable to CFCs.

But once CFCs were off the table, they boosted the theoretical feedback effects on just one of the gases tracked in AR1—CO2, in order to keep the expected human-induced warming high enough to still be a problem.

CO2 has carried the argument ever since even though we've largely eliminated a class of gases that were previously thought to be responsible for half the expected warming.

Leaded Gasoline came before CFCs. The left has had this mapped out for a long, long time.

It was theory only, and it was hotly disputed by scientists working for CFC manufacturers at the time. In reality, it remains theory to this day.

I think the proper word here would be hypothesis, not theory. Typically, a theory is formulated on the basis of a body of well-tested evidence. A hypothesis is a testable supposition based on observation. The idea of science is to develop a logical hypothesis, its companion null hypothesis, and to set about trying to disprove the hypothesis. Neither the idea of CFC-mediated ozone layer destruction nor anthropogenic climate change have been shown to withstand rigorous experimental challenge. Thus, they remain hypotheses.

Good article. Ill save this one for later :o)

I wish a more reputable news org would publish articles like this. Its hard to spread the news when your source is “American Thinker” or “Pajama News” or whatever.
