Rock Hudson was gay, a friend of Reagan, and a conservative Republican who campaigned with John Wayne for Barry Goldwater in 1964.

I stated that Ronald Reagan had gay friends, among them, conservative gay Republican, Rock Hudson.

Did RR “embrace” their lifestyle? No, but he included them in his circle of friends.
