The speaker, Ryan Sorba, was introduced to talk about his experiences with the ACORN investigation. Before he could even say a word the boos started from the assorted gay activists in the crowd. (Sorba is a frequent critic of the homosexual lifestyle).
Note that only AFTER the boos began did Sorba change the subject to condemning CPAC for inviting GOProud to CPAC.
He became flustered as any young man in such a situation would be on national TV, at a supposedly "conservative" event, being booed by homosexual activists...but his response that "Lesbians at Smith college protest better than you do" was pretty funny.
If so; Beck's speech tomorrow night should be REAL interesting...
Individual freedom means the freedom to not hire a homosexual for your daycare if you don’t want to, to not rent your spare bedroom to a homosexual if you don’t want to, to not have homosexual propaganda and recruitment in the public schools, to not have to attend homosexual “sensitivity training” in various organizations, schools, and agencies.
The homosexual agenda is the exact opposite of individual freedom.
I agree with you 100%. There is, however, a difference between a broad policy of advancing individual freedom, including on the issues you list above, and being opposed to "the homosexual lifestyle" as many conservatives are.
Oh man! It should be epic.
I agree totally. CPAC has been infiltrated by social issues and has trouble recognizing what true conservatives really are.
Probably why Jim Robinson stopped the affiliation between FR and CPAC. A move I totally support.
It’s merely a branch of the homosexual agenda pushers. They’re not conservative in any way, shape or form. All they want is to push the “gay” agenda.
If the GOP caves on this, they’re freaking toast. They think donations are down now?
I just won’t vote any more. What would be the use? Vote between this stinking pile of excrement or the other stinking pile of excrement.
They would find something else.
Then why are they even there? I despise their lifestyle but I also don’t care what they do in their privacy, just don’t try to mainstream it, which is their intent.
Perhaps they believe in less taxes, less government, a strong military, etc.
Saw some ‘Free State Project’ t-shirts in the crowd before Paul’s speech...that’s probably where the booing came from. The FSP is part of the reason New Hampshire now has ‘gay marriage’ on the books...
You are wrong. Most conservatives are against the homosexual agenda. If sexual perverts want to do their thing in private, in their own houses, not in public beaches, parks, hiking trails and public bathrooms (yes, I’ve been driven out of all kinds of places because of their sick behavior), and not try to change the very face of America via legislation to suit their perversion, I could give a rip what they do - IN PRIVATE!
But that is not what they want. The homoseuxal agenda pushers do not want tolerance, THEY WANT DOMINANCE! And they have ZERO TOLERANCE FOR DISSENT!
AND I AM SICK OF IT!
Thats all good, but why identify yourself sexually if that is what they really care about?
BS. The Log Cabin Republicans aren’t conservative at all. It’s just a propaganda arm of the gay agenda pushers. Most of them voted for 0bama.
Rome: "Then maybe the homos should shut the F88K up and stop trying to force normal people to accept their lifestyle as acceptable at gunpoint."
Ron, I don't know a whole lotta people, Republican or otherwise, who give a good doodly squat what people do in their bedrooms, and that isn't what this is about. What it's about is people who want us to know exactly what they do in their bedrooms and then want to deny us our God-given right to discriminate against open homosexuality in our communities, workplaces, youth organizitions, schools, and social gathering places.
If two people are roommates, I have no idea whether or not they're gay. The only time I know that they're gay is if THEY CHOOSE TO LET ME KNOW.
And if I know they're gay and I decide I don't want to rent to them, or serve them in my business, or employ them, or let them be in charge of my kid's Boy Scout or Girl Scout troop, or show up at my kid's school talking up the "gay lifestyle" as an okay option, then I should be able to do just that without fear of legal reprisal; by the same token, if I want to welcome them, cater to them in my business or rental property, or if I want to sponsor a group in which they parade their homosexuality openly, then that should also be my right without fear of legal reprisal, and indeed, we already have that SECOND right.
It's the FIRST right that the homosexual agenda wants to deny us. So the term "gay rights" is a parlor trick in two ways. First of all, it's not about homosexuality, it's about OPEN homosexualty. Second, it's not about endowing rights, it's about DENYING RIGHTS.
The gay agenda within the Republican party is an oxymoron. Limited government principle would make irrelevant, any place and any time, the private sexual activities of any legal adults.
‘Weve already lost the party. We are now in the process of losing CPAC and may soon have the Tea Party at risk as GOP tries to moderate the tone.’
Moderate the tone of the Tea Party. Come on that’s like hearding cats. It can’t be done. That is the beauty of the awakening called the Tae party movement. It’s a movement and an awakening with no single leadership, only Americans finally standing up to be heard.
"It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."
Their behavior at CPAC tells us all that the queers wouldn't be satisfied.
Their ambition is is to force us to embrace their lifestyle.
We would be wise to reject them at every turn.
To hell with Meghan McCain! To hell with HOMOPAC!
It is why Sarah Palin stayed away isn’t it? They are being supported by John Birchers and worse these days.
