Princella Smith, 26, will announce on Saturday that she is running for Congress in Arkansas’s 1st District. Some would say she is too young. Others might point to other potential hurdles: She’s running in eastern Arkansas, a district that hasn’t elected a Republican since 1872 in a Southern state that has never elected a black person to a congressional or state-wide office.
“I think I’m the person to do this,” Smith said. “I’m going to tell people to come on board with me, listen to these ideas, and that we can get people excited again about the Republican Party.”

I am from Ms. Smith’s hometown of Wynne and have attended her father’s church. Princella is a solid, principled young woman from a wonderful family, and I wish her and my former home state all the best.
She IS a conservative. As I said in an earlier post, I know her family and have met her. I still have friends that attend her dad’s church,where he is pastor. I just got off the phone with one of them , and they are all fired up about Princella. Hope we can support not only Ms. Smith, but encourage more and more new conservative candidates to enter these races.

I hope Princella’s carriage does not turn into a pumpkin before it carries her all the way.
It does put Rats in the position of having to expose what’s really going on in their dirty minds, which is patronizing at best towards black people. Most Rats never really did leave their racism behind. Those that did, probably became Republicans or Libertarians.

If you ever watch C-Span’s Washington Journal, it difficult not to conclude that African-Americans are far more racist than Americans as a whole - every issue is viewed through a racial prism. In the last election even some self-proclaimed conservatives admitted to voting for Obama.
Smith calls Mary Matalin her “big sister.” Even though Mary Matalin is married to that nitwit Carville, my feeling is Smith would have to have some “conservative creds” to rate this relationship.
There was a thread about her a few weeks ago, about she was quite experienced in public relations for Republicans despite her young age. I’d like to hear some more about her views, but I have to say that a black conservative would be tough to beat in the Delta-based AR-01. Democrats can’t afford to lose any black votes in that district.
And being only 26, if she gets elected this year the sky’s the limit for her.
I didn’t recall seeing it, and there might’ve been some confusion between her and the lady running in the nearby MS-1, who unfortunately turned out to be not so good on the issues, like 2A.
She works for Joseph Cao (R-La). Communications director. Maybe its just a job. Hope she doesn’t agree with him on ObamaCare.

She is adamantly against Cap and Trade, Obamacare, Amnesty, and supports Fair Tax and a Balanced Budget Amendment. As a Christian, she is Pro-Life, and believes marriage is between a man and a woman. She is also very supportive of gun rights and believes in capitol punishment. She would like to see control of our schools returned to the local level to clean up the curriculum and teach history again.(abolish NEA). She wants the Fed audited and abolished, and the War on Terror restored to handling terrorists as enemy combatants. She is very pro-Israel. I haven’t found any negatives yet, but will keep you posted on anything pro or con I can confirm.

See Post 35 for some of her positions on isssues. I’d like to hear her interviewed on Fox. I hope that she will be debating her opposition ( a white guy who reads a daily agricultural report on a Jonesboro radio station). Princella has a great conservative grasp of the issues and can articulate the conservative view point well. She has been involved in politics since the beginning of college, has worked for several Republican campaigns, has been living in Washington and working on Capital Hill. I’m just so excited to see a fresh face who is so solidly conservative, and who has so much potential. She looks to Congresswomen Michele Bachman and Marsha Blackburn as role models. I’m impressed enough that I just donated to her campaign and will be watching that race closely.
