That is so sad. The young man was finally living his dream, and likely held out hopes that his play could lead to a future to help him and his family. Some of these heart defects just can’t be detected in normal testing.

Prayers for his family.

Abram's was an exercise science major from Southaven.

Not to disrespect the dead, but what type of major is that?

There was a rash of this type of death in Houston last year - several young kids in high school or middle school. Most turned out to have a heart defect they were unaware of. These are always sad stories.
